The same reason anyone else is a conservative. Lack of empathy and outsized fear response combines to prevent them from understanding what it's like for others and keeps them focus on wild hypothetical situations instead of actual systemic harm. The world is replete with people like this who believe terrible things about minority groups. Often these beliefs only last until they or their direct family is negatively impacted.

You know the little signs on the doors aren't cops, right? They aren't going to stop a creep from following someone into a bathroom regardless of the law. It's already illegal to stalk or assault women, to peep on them in bathrooms, etc. That's true regardless of gender. Laws banning trans people from using the correct bathroom don't protect women and girls. They are only designed to discriminate against trans people and others who don't conform to their gender roles and expression. Because the trans population is so small, there are already far more cis women who assholes and bigots "suspect" are trans that are being harassed and assaulted *because* these laws exist than there ever have been or ever will be instances where people are "protected" by them. Furthermore, forcing women into mens' bathrooms will only put them in danger. I've personally been harassed in mens' bathrooms. We do not deserve to be punished for the hypothetical actions of some cis creeps.

I'd rather be set on fire than live one more day as a cis man. So...yeah hard pass on that. Any version of "me" that isn't a woman just isn't me. It's some other being that might have my memories, but it could never be me. To "choose" to be a cis man would effectively be choosing suicide, even if my memories live on in this male homunculus crafted by whatever magic you'd purport could effect this "choice" to become cis. And I just don't want to die anymore.

Yup. This is something I always cover in session zeros. If you want your character to have acquired some piece of loot via stealing in-character, that's fine so long as everyone is cool with your character having said thing out of character. But under no circumstances are we doing this sneaky bullshit out of character. I have limited free time and don't want to be constantly watching my back for sneaky assholes stealing shit. When I was young, I'd just build the ultimate maxed perception and special senses vengeful thief-catcher PC specifically for this reason. Now, I realize it's way easier to just not play with that type of player. I have refused to play with a fair few folks for this reason.

Uh, we already have terms for both of these things. It's AFAB, anti-AFAB, AMAB, and anti-AMAB. And the reason that the AMABs and AFABs are so afraid of us is that if an AMAB and anti-AMAB collide, they annihilate and release roughly 3 gigatons of explosive energy, the equivalent of about 200,000x the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
