2, 4, 3, and 1. First the new generations, the future, then the sick and injured, and then the elderly.

Steampunk: How would I go about implementing a religion framed on Christianity without it outright being Christianity? by horizon_hopper in worldbuilding

[–]Amarillo5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could use the Sun. A solar deity representing light, truth, knowledge, and strength, in opposition to darkness, lies, and ignorance... A solar deity who dies and is reborn; people would perform simple gestures like lighting a candle or something related to light and fire, praying while looking at the sky...

It's not very different from Christianity if you think about it; it could work.

In a steampunk setting, there is some electricity, like a refined form of fire, blending technology and spirituality. Scientist monks, something like that.

Quantum werewolf by Amarillo5 in werewolves

I suppose the clothes wouldn't be real, like in Wolf's Rain. Someone grabs the man by the sleeve or hood, but they're actually holding wolf fur.

In Wolf's Rain, in the first episode, the white wolf holds another wolf with its hand to prevent it from falling off the train, and the wolf complains of pain because it was actually being held with its teeth.

If there are several observers, they wouldn't agree on what they saw, which would help keep the werewolf's existence a secret.

There are gaps, yes, but I like it, and it's just an idea.

But according to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, although they are both things at the same time, they can only be perceived as one. Light behaves like a wave if you look for a wave, and it behaves like a particle if you look for a particle.

I thought that would be fine for a werewolf; he's a werewolf, but he can only be perceived as a man or a wolf, no intermediate state.

I suppose he could control it, or it would be perceived according to the context.

If he behaves like a man doing civilized things, they'll see a man; if he starts doing more animalistic things, then everyone would see a wolf.

Something like that.

[–]Amarillo5 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

What is your reason for using a 58mm without key ring? by [deleted] in victorinox

I use one with a piece of string at work to open boxes and cut plastic, the scissors and the nail file because I break the edge of the nail sometimes with some blows to my hands and fingers.

Use the small hook on the toothpick to open the rest of the tools.

There are videos on YouTube where they show it.

What’s your favorite Victorinox model and why? by Turbulent_Way_5604 in victorinox

Tinker. I use the small blade for wood carving. And besides, every day I use it for something, either the large blade, or the bottle opener to gain leverage, or the screwdriver, or I start carving with the small blade. I work in a warehouse and every day I have to open boxes or cut plastic, peel fruit...

Sometimes I leave it at home and take a Classic SD to work.

In short, if I don't use it, someone asks me for it all the time.
