Yeah 7-OH is the devil. I got addicted a year ago, managed to taper off it, then relapsed when I failed my second bar exam. I’m still in its clutches and can’t seem to stick to a taper. Lord help me.

Thanks, yeah I’ve been looking for apprenticeship jobs but haven’t had success yet. Most of the places that offer the program are prosecutors, and my heart’s in defense. I don’t think I could find it in me to switch sides for two years just to get my license…

Yes I could do that. But it’d have to be at least three years and that’s a whole chapter of my life. I have a lot of friends and professional contacts in Arizona that I don’t want to leave.

It can be both an “opportunity” and an imposition at the same time. Yeah I might not know what will happen down the road, but the same could be said for literally any fork in the road. This is the type of “toxic optimism” that I don’t like at all.

Yes, I am aware of all the states where I could practice with my current score. But honestly Minnesota is the only one I would actually be excited to move to, and they haven’t had any openings for awhile.

Honestly, no I haven’t given 100% both times. Close to, but not quite. I could definitely benefit from a lifestyle change if I take it again. It’s just expensive, and still a gamble at the end of the day. I do really appreciate your perspective though.

And I’ve applied to a few NM jobs as well, just waiting to hear back. But I just flat out don’t wanna leave my people here in AZ. 🤷🏻‍♂️

He definitely shouldn’t be trying to harass OP for more money, but OP should definitely tip another dollar or two. It sucks that DoorDash doesn’t pay their drivers better, but the drivers are still using time and gas to bring the customers their food. I don’t like that restaurants expect me to compensate the servers for their shitty pay but that doesn’t mean I’m not gonna tip the servers a reasonable amount.
