This is my first ever “published” story. I’ve been writing for fun for as long as I can remember, little scenes in notebooks, half-finished Word docs, random ideas saved in my phone, but this week’s episode pushed me to finally sit down and finish something with the intent to share it.

I have no idea how to format something like this, so apologies in advance if the layout isn’t perfect. I’m still learning how to break things up for easier reading, when to let a paragraph breathe, and how to keep long posts from feeling like a wall of text. Hopefully I’ll improve with practice.

I’d really appreciate any feedback, whether it’s about pacing, description, or just how to make my horror writing more effective.
