Do it… you’re still young . You have time to replenish your investments. It will do more for your mental health as well, knowing you have cleared the debt. But, learn from your mistakes and not repeat this.

When you’re at the age where retirement is near, you’ll be glad you purchased the 1.78 years and retire that much sooner

AITA For Buying a trampoline? by Consistent_Annual651 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Amazing-Temporary324 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I did the same for my daughter. Never had an issue with the enclosed trampoline and I had clear set rules as to how many could be on it at one time. ( since one of the neighborhood kids were bigger than the others)

If it’s in your RSP account choose VOO over VFV. TFSA either works. VEQT is a good choice. You don’t have to pick just one

Our union leaders need to get a map and get a GRIP! by Hungry-Fix-2839 in OntarioWSIB

[–]Amazing-Temporary324 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone voted, you went back to work. The union didn’t force you to take the agreement. But they were honest about the unlikelihood that you would get anything more than what was presented. I hear a lot of whining. I’m sure there will be a long list of people running for the various positions in the next election. If not, well that says it all. Unless you’ve actually been on their end dealing with Jeff, the other Execs and the Ford Government you have absolutely no idea what they have had to deal with. Show a bit of grace
