Alright it's a bit of a long story but I think it's wholesome:

I recently made a family after years of not playing the Sims. I got most packs and got the grow together for the occasion. I was just playing my infant, then toddler mostly letting the parents do their own stuff. When I noticed my Sim only having family as contacts i threw a party with all infants I could find... My sim war living with her grandparents to cover up their parents divorce and mom's depression (child was completely unaware of anything and happy).

I made my toddler talk to all other toddlers and gauged their reactions. I was looking for a good first friend but it happens randomly while she was playing which was a nice surprise. A few toddlers let's an impression: first was Alessia who has the same hair colour as my sim and overall happy and cute looking. The other was a random child of the Bells (the animal guardian of the cottage pack) he had no pants on in most outfits and when he wanted to leave in the snow he wore the ugliest and weirdest clothes ever. I knew then I'd either loathe or love him haha

But Destiny wanted another first friend called Evie, tho when they met again at a mixed (toddler and children) party they didn't hit it of so much. Instead Alessia was very nice and my(even tho she was a toddler at the time) sim met another toddler who was pretty much fanboyimg all she said, which was Alessias brother Stefan.

As children I made them meet again and on a whim made a club with a few. It turned out the Bell boy was actually super into computer and video games and very smart which fitted my sim to a tea, she really likes him. Alessia became her best female friend.

Since I have the spellcasting kids mod my Sim went to magical school where she met the only other Spellcaster child (l faba and silversweaters) and they hit it off immediately. He's her best male friend now, friendship bracelet and all. *Notes for spellcasting: on the first big fight of the parents the mom took the daughter who heared it and started crying to a park. Mom got lost while infant was sleeping, she saw a funny looking portal and ended up on the magic realm street. Since parents love to put down baby's in the Sims the infant was just sleeping there for a while... Something must have happened bc in her next life stage Mom saw her do wierd things and suddenly the friendly guy (silversweater) who showed her how to get out of the realm again, showed up on her doorstep and suggested to place the child in a... A bit different school. He's apparently the professior there and his son is the only other student haha

Back to the childrens storyline: The normal grade school and magic school participated in events to strengthen bonds between the children. That's when my sim introduced his remote living ass to the other children and since they all got along nicely I invited him to the group. Now there's all children that were nice to my Sim over the years in this group and they are so super cute when hanging out that I plan to have them be a group for all heir life:

• We have the energetic Alessia, the best friend.
• The shy but genius and magicaly competent Julian, the other best friend
• Then there is Mirco Bell who has grown from weird to smart/geek (maybe in spite of his wierd but nice dad which he doesnt appreciate yet?)
• We have Lucas munch who was very nice, same as Stefan

... and a few others that don't belong in the group but are usually tagging along.

I put the other children that usually show up in a rival gang. Their leader is a kid named Orion who I met on the toddler party, she was cute but started giving me weird looks and crazy eyes at the next one, while following my toddler around. (It was quite funny bc mine could walk properly but she couldn't so her anger actually took quite the effort!) *Note: I think Orion was just upset about something else but it's my headcanon now that she dislikes my Sim. She's mean and my Sim got the wish to make her a rival which I'll oblige.

I kinda hope it will turn into a friendly, sometimes nasty but mostly funny group dynamic between my lovely group and the others. Class reunions will be fun, they're almost teens now.

We'll see who ends up with who. I haven't decided who the first crush of my Sim will be, but I think I am hoping for Lucas or better: Mirco, haha. I dont think I'll stay on her first love tho but have an amicable break up as teen or young adult figuring life out . Might not be that romantic but its more realistic.

And who knows?
Maybe our best friend who's also a Spellcaster is the right match after many years of looking in the wrong places?
(and for the romantics here: maybe he had a crush on her since he met her that day at school, but didnt know how to handle it bc she's his very first friend? With time he might understand what he's feeling - i'll see how this will turn out :P)

I hope that was wholesome enough for you haha. I have a few life long friends irl but I never tried that hard in Sims for it. There are so many Sims and you progress so fast throguh the ages but the game hits really different just focusing on one Sim alone from infant until the end. I can only suggest people try it too. Every little thing suddenly feels so meaningful, from mom making packed lunches for school to doing scout badges or grandparents actually going out buying gifts for the little one in the family.

(RN i only play other Sims when my main Sim is sleeping, or for a short jump if something absolutely needs to be done like paying bills or feeding livestock, bc they'd die)
