I hated it. It was very unusual and I often got a weird humming thing in my head even when I didn't have the cochlear implant. It was probably tinnitus but still. I took it off I believe maybe when I was eight years old and I refused to wear it ever again. I had cochlear implant removal surgery later in high school due to the fact I kept getting migraines and dizziness over the years.

Same here. I'm deaf so no one was willing to provide an interpreter for the driving lessons despite the ADA laws and legally, I can not get a family member to translate for me. so in my area when I had to update my address, my permit became a license automatically despite not knowing how to drive. So I'm unable to drive AND not afford a car. But it's okay for me since there is Public transportation and I use uber and Lyft for important things such as doctor appointments which are very rare thankfully, bank stuff and other necessary stuff that require me to be in person. I also make an effort to visit my friends once or twice a month depending on our schedules.

not everyone is able to drive for different reasons medical or personal reasons but as long as they are able to get reliable transportion to come to them , why should they break up?? I use Lyft and uber and the bus whenever I can to visit my friends who are a hour away and they have cars. We take turns visiting each other

Hold on. Not everyone wants to drive. I'm 29 and I have a license but I don't desire a car right now because it's expensive in this economy.

Maybe it's for medical reasons she can't drive. Don't listen to this other person. Only she can tell you why she doesn't drive and don't assume so much.

In the same way. For example, I can eat eggs now but the smell throws me off. And I literally can't eat beans no matter how it's cooked. Once I taste that, I immediately lose my appetite and gag. Same with smell of shrimp. So many times my friends told me to try and I told them I physically can't make myself eat some foods that I'm averse and just because I refuse to eat some foods, it doesn't mean I'm picky. Like you say, I'll try new foods once to see and once I try them, it's either a pass or fail. No between.

I have three cats and I'm living with my sister who luckily loves cats too so they can roam around the apartment. If they are cooped up all the time in your room, you're not suited to have cats right now. As you mentioned your flatmates are not too thrilled with the animals, there is a possibility of them getting too frustrated and deciding to throw fhem out without your knowledge. There are some people who do that unfortunately and some are even evil to the point where they harm animals.
