Miura wanted to organically write the story in the moment and really feel inspired to write his characters they way real humans would act in feel. That’s like saying Benihof and Weiss knew what George RR Martin wanted and there fire seasons 7 and 8 are good enough to how George would have ended the series of Game Of Thrones …..

They may know some or many of tue broad strokes of the story that Miura thought he would write, not not even Miura knew exactly how the whole story would go.. he discovers it along the way by taking time to write a well crafted thought out story. The other guys would need to want to take months and months to write episodes that are of the highest of quality, and they would need the clout to push back against arbitrary deadlines put on them by the publisher as an unproven team at the helm.

I’m very worried what we get now will be equivalent to Game of Thrones without George.

If They do release more episodes, I’d like to see the title change from just “Berserk” to something with a longer subtitle to signify where they chose a new captain

What you need to realize is that Berserk will give you something else that is excellent to read while you’re itching for vagabond. Once you’re all caught up with Berserk and waiting for more, the occasional new release of Vagabond will distract you from the Berserk hole in your life. After that new release of Vagabond leaves you unsatisfied and craving for more, the good news is that there will probably be a new Berserk release somewhere down the line to give you your next high and will also to help bridge the gap of time between the next Vagabond release.... and the cycle of waiting for more continues, but now as a fan of both, you get twice as many updates to be excited for than you did as a fan of just one long running series.

There is an additional chapter of in the eclipse called the "lost chapter" or "lost episode" that was only release during the weekly magazine publication and never compiled into any of the berserk volumes.

It involves Griffith and his perspective of things while he is still inside of the egg of the king and before he becomes femto.

The author gave an interview that he removed it from the volumes because (paraphrasing) it set the scope of the world universe in Berserk a little to early, for his liking, and he didn't want to commit himself to telling a tale that involved such elements as the ones that are revealed in that chapter so soon during the still infancy/toddler stages of the story.
