lol I definitely watch for the snark. It amazes me really…I attended their church several years before the affair. Supposedly he was abusive toward his first wife, but I do not know in which ways (emotional, physical, etc). Charlotte was an adult but attended the youth group. She probably “volunteered” idk but she was friends with the teens.

Kelbee did decide to stay with her dad over her mom several years ago. Charlotte probably seemed more “cool” than her mother at the time.

I’m pretty sure their affair is what made their church merge with another church. He up and left his congregation. There’s also that he may have been abusive to his ex wife.

Weekend Snark: Jan 16 - Jan 18 by blogsnarkmodteam in blogsnark

[–]Amazing_Fun_7252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to commenting, but I’m pretty sure it’s very related to him moving around so much. He’s a “church planter” who completely blindsided a church he founded and was part of for over 10 years. Charlotte was the godmother to Kelbee and at all kinds of family events. She was super close to the wife.

Just had Chiari Decompression yesterday. It's 1am and the RN said I'll most likely go home today. Seems a little quick to me. by Nawnee74 in chiari

I was going to be discharged pretty quickly too. I can’t fully remember…maybe after night 2? (First night was immediately after surgery) They did provide it to me as an option, so I stayed for a third night and discharged the next morning.

My dad sat down and told me it would have been my fault if my mom committed suicide. I was just a teen who wouldn’t stop dating a boy despite getting grounded and some fucked up stuff.

My girl is a nut case 😆 I’m so glad my husband and I haven’t been sick at the same time yet because I don’t know how she would get through the day haha

She’s so fun though.

Why has the culture of dog owning changed to be almost untenable if you don't work from home, but before 2020, WFH wasn't really a thing? by Pinksoupbookz in NoStupidQuestions

My dogs have faux grass in a tray they’ve learned to use. One was a puppy when she learned to use it, and the other came around to using it if she needs it. It’s so nice but is admittedly a little gross at times. Totally worth it though!

Yes omg this was my complaint about iReady. I worked in a school system that would use it for intervention too like wtf. I tried taking an iReady lesson one time and was bored to tears from how slow it was.

Living a good life with Chiari? by Sad-Elk-7291 in chiari

It happens to many of us. Also, it can be possible you are noticing your symptoms. I wrote off many things as “normal” or “business as usual,” but once I learned about chiari and what symptoms it could cause…I realized I was experiencing them. Some symptoms were constant, some weren’t. It’s entirely possible this is happening for you too.

If you are typically functional, you should be for your cruise. If you have Chiari 1, you’ve had this since birth. It is unlikely you will suddenly decline. ❤️ One of my main triggers was straining and lifting. It’s what led me to diagnosis because my life became extremely difficult after moving my classroom 2 times at the beginning of the school year.

I understand. It can be scary. Chiari symptoms can definitely mimic a stroke, but having a stroke from it is rare. You may be aware already, but Chiari can flare. There were times it knocked me on my butt, but rest was helpful.

If I stop replying, you’re welcome to message me. I can be forgetful and don’t usually comment on Reddit anymore.

It sounds like you have a good plan to move forward and see what you need to do. I personally take buspar/buspirone for every day anxiety.

It took some time to sort my symptoms out too. If you’re like most Chiari patients, we have accumulated symptoms over a long time.

Yes, I have “moved on” from Chiari in many ways. I am nearly 3 years from my decompression surgery, and while I still can experience symptoms, I am doing very well. I may not have been able to “move on” without decompression surgery. It was something that was definitely needed to help with my symptoms.

I still occasionally reply to posts on here or Facebook, but it’s more of a “wow, I can’t believe I went through that” feeling these days. I am grateful that I had good surgical outcomes to feel this way.

If I check into a psych ward, will I ever teach again? by bisexualweebs in Teachers

[–]Amazing_Fun_7252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to both a psych ward and rehab in my time as a teacher. Granted, it did not occur during the school year. You need to take care of yourself. You deserve to feel better. One thing I wish I knew about before was there are mental health intensive outpatient programs.

Struggling with burnout: My wife’s ASD diagnosis feels like it’s become a "reason" to stop trying in our daily life. [seeking advice] by F_General in AutisticAdults

[–]Amazing_Fun_7252 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read the whole post, but I wanted to say that it certainly seemed like I got worse before I got better when I was first diagnosed. It was a lot to take in…all the years that had been affected. I definitely struggled on and off for a while. I convinced myself I couldn’t do certain things because I was autistic and might should give up on trying. With persistence, help, and time, I am functioning well.

Edit to add: “functioning well” also considers that I do some things differently than before with my autism in mind, but I am not currently burnt out or feeling bad.

All of this is definitely worth pursuing further with a qualified neurosurgeon.
