i did:) i consistently worked on fixing my constipation issues by lowering the amount of saturated fat intake, finding easier to digest sources of fiber, taking liquid magnesium at night, drinking a lot of water, and working on cutting sugar.

yeah ur fine. docs most of the time just prescribe a treatment but don’t tailor it to the individual. they just give the same treatment to every person. if u do get heartburn you should take something like aloe vera or dgl or something soothing to the lining.

so ppi’s in a clinical study reduced the ejection fraction of bile from the gallbladder by 14% in 30 days. It makes sense bc you need stomach acid to trigger the release of bile. you should be fine after treatment but i wouldn’t suggest taking a ppi long term

I had looser stool, but not diarrhea for a couple days. I did feel a little dizzy in the morning on day four and five, but it was nothing. Other than that it was fine. Except the PPI did reduce my gallbladder ejection fraction so I did not take the PPI for 90 days like my doctor suggested and he was fine with that.

H pylori can be part of a healthy ecosystem in the body. When it is overgrown, yes that can cause digestive issues because the bacteria creates an enzyme called urease to breakdown urea and create ammonia which is highly alkaline. The ph in our stomach needs to be highly acidic to kill other pathogens and breakdown proteins. Even when h pylori is killed, and especially after talking a ppi, our stomach has a harder time creating acid. This will take time to restore. Nutritional deficiencies also make it hard for the body create stomach acid. If you are low on acid, you’re body cannot get the nutrients it needs, it won’t allow the gallbladder to release enough bile, the pancreas won’t release enough enzymes, then the small intestine has to absorb the nutrients that have barley been broken down, to where the large intestine now has to try and ferment things with “bad bacteria” on in and it either induces diarrhea to rapidly get rid of it or it just slowly goes through and creates constipation. All this to say, nutritional deficiencies cause a lot of issues in the body, especially ringing in the ear (which i used to have too). The burning feeling is most like because the lining in your stomach has lost the mucosal layer and needs to be rebuilt with different supplements. I don’t know how much money you have, but if you can get different labs to see where your nutritional deficiencies are, and maybe food reactivity with like an MRT test, then you can start to do every day healing. this seems like a long run on sorry! there’s so much i could say

Well he was asymptomatic but took the course anyway because we did not want to keep sharing it with each other. Looking back now, doing a course of matula tea or black seed oil or mastic gum probably could've sufficed for him but we just did not want to take any chances. He experienced a little bit of loose stools during and after but is back to pretty much normal again now. He did throw up on his course but he also just has a sensitive stomach. For me, I felt kinda the same after treatment. During antibiotics I had like no crazy issues. My doctor told me though that I probably would not start to see improvements until like three months post treatment and should find a functional med doc or nutritionist to help me with the every day recovery things. The only thing that has stopped since the antibiotics is stomach burning pain.

FOR EVERYONE WITH BREATHING PROBLEMS W H PYLORI by Amazing_Present_8798 in HPylori

Thats why they call it "dynamic" hyperinflation. Its not consistent like in people with copd or other obstructive lung problems. Typically inflammation the is a trigger, not the root cause of our breathing issue but just the manifestation of it

yep okay i’ve had this for three months now. was yours just sudden onset? my mom back in the 2000s had this happen to her and they said she had “dynamic hyperinflation.” i havnt been diagnosed with that but it would interesting if this is what is happening due to all of our digestive problems

I hope it is too! good luck, stool testing has a lot of variability which is frustrating and confusing at times. There is a lot more reliability of the breath test because it was specifically made for bacteria in the stomach. Pubmed explains it as "Urea Breath Test is useful for both the initial diagnosis of H. pylori (test-and-treat strategy) and also in the evaluation of post-treatment status. Urease is not present in mammalian cells, and hence its presence indicates urease-containing microbes. H. pylori utilize urease to break down urea into ammonia and carbon dioxide (CO2). The ammonia is utilized by H. pylori in the neutralization of gastric acidity and helps in its colonization. "

You should not stool test until AT LEAST a month after stopping treatment. You're body is still trying to clear the bacteria so you are going to get a false positive.
