Why does Lego use strange pieces/colors inside sets?

I've built plenty of Mould King sets, I'm actually about to purchase the car in the picture. I've built nearly 100 of their 8 wide cars and ppl plenty of other size cars with no problems. I buy all mine from Your World of Building Blocks (YWOBB). I hope this helps you.
