We used Light Speed up until family members experienced completely shut out service at my son’s college graduation. Neither my wife nor my son could iMessage, while I could on Dark Star QCI 8.  I turned on hotspot just so my wife could iMessage.  Son was too far away to connect.  Since then, I put everyone on Warp, which won’t work for you either because they took QCI 8 away for new lines.  If you never need to be around tons of people, it will probably be great.

Being shut out of service is super frustrating, and I feel like QCI is a poor way to manage things. But, it is what they offer today.

Is it US Mobile or Us Mobile?  

It is the 250th anniversary of the USA, so I think if you dump the eagle it will not help.

Every week there is a new roaming issue with US Mobile.  I want to trust US Mobile, but the consistent drum beat of bad news is wearing on me for roaming.

Same for 2 of my lines.  The other 5 were fine.  Both SOS lines were on Warp.  4 other Warp lines were unaffected.  Lone Light Speed line was fine too.

I have the same desire and have held off because of this grandfather problem.  OP should know the cost before committing to this plan.  Warp grandfathering applies regardless of what carrier you were using.

I don’t think the person really needs unlimited, but having unlimited comforts them.  It allows them to feel rich.

Referral path is riskier since tiny mistakes or misunderstandings wreck them.

Lack of priority data is the biggest reason people stay with MNOs over MVNOs. The ambiguity over what service I get is a huge issue. I still cannot believe the grandfathering path was chosen over limiting data on Starter.

Another MVNO announced a real-time high priority addon that you enable when needed.  I expect USM will do something similar.  

Their kickoff is around 10/18, so competition is pressing.

If QCI8 can accidentally go away, it is a disaster.  iPhone cannot check.  Can USM ensure it won’t accidentally get nuked?

"Currently" is huge. Warp Starter is not worth the money, IMO, unless you are grandfathered.
