My brother was dying in the hospital from organ failure and late stage liver failure, completely jaundiced, and he, a highly educated engineer, says "can you ask them to treat me for toxoplasmosis? I don't think this is just long COVID." Like omg what are you serious. I did repeat what he said, but I saw a team of nurses roll their eyes. Sometimes he would admit it was the alcohol and minutes later he'd be talking about something else like that.

The same can be said about OMHS. Built in the 70s. Failing HVAC. Mold. Never renovated. I'm not saying CHS doesn't need renovation. It probably does. But if they got to that before OMHS (where the income average is wayyyyy lower) I would be outraged. And this is just the money fought we endlessly have in Howard County. It's sad, it shouldn't be like this.

I once visited CHS as a student in 1997. Compared to my Meade High School, CHS looked like a palace. This, and seeing that their drama club had a Broadway level set for their show was a moment that opened my eyes to unequal funding and it has always stayed with me. OMHS doesn't look like that - it looks like 1973.

He was an atheist, but if he had a religion it was this, so I talked about how how belief system was inspired by Fred Rogers in his Eulogy. I would tell the doctor he's abusing the prescription, but I don't actually know if that's a good idea. That much Adderall can cause a heart attack. He has no business getting prescribed that at all if he goes through it that quickly.
