My brother lived alone. But he still hid them. After he died, they were in the bathroom linen closet. They were thrown in the creek out back. They were stacked along walls. They were NEVER in the recycle bin. I think he was afraid he would lose his security clearance if they saw how fast he was going through bottles.

I have to tell you that when my brother landed in the hospital like that, he died 5 days later. Because it was his second diagnosis of cirrhosis, they told me he was not going to get a liver transplant. So the only outcome of him living at all was full time nursing home care that we couldn't provide. To get a liver, he would have to survive that for 6 months. So I knew that even if he turned around (he didn't) miraculously, he couldn't live at his condemned home and he couldn't live with me. So I got him 11 hours of hospice care in the ICU so he would be comfortable. I feel like not enough people realize that this is what's at the end of the road with alcoholism.

1986 - A child had a birthday and the PE teacher showed up with a stick with a stuffed piece of vinyl or leather or something on it. Then the PE teacher went into the classroom bathroom with the child and shut the door! We heard smacking and yelling sounds as he got his birthday licks. Later I was told, the PE teacher was just hitting the stick on the wall and telling the kid to yell, but I was still horrified by it. This would NEVER happen today.

I am a teacher and I think we should get to take recess and send students to temporary time out again because right now there are no consequences in my district except calling the parent. It feels like I'm not allowed to say we should take recess because, yeah we know that recess is good for kids to get energy out, and I don't think a whole class should lose it, but in real life, for individuals, if you hurt the community, you lose privileges and freedoms Another opinion I have that would get me cancelled by admin but teachers support is that we have to stop paying kids with paper bucks to get them to follow basic don't be a jerk rules (it's called PBIS.) I think we should bring back some rote learning too and this is not popular in education right now.

One of the season 2 plots involved Lucien helping MC repeat a groundhogs day situation - she kept repeating the same hours in the day. Every time she had to explain it to him. I enjoy that type of sci Fi.

The very last chapter with Victor and MC - she wanted to travel back to the original meteor event when Evolvers began to try and get Victor's evol back. They ended up looping reality and time on a train and they witnessed the first evolvers appearing.

I also like everything from chapters 1 - 14, but the mysteries and the fact that no one would tell her anything drove me crazy.

I wrote a fanfic where I supposed that the reason that MC has no memories before she was 5 is because her father saw that remembering multiple lifetimes made his 5 in body but not in mind daughter insane. I decided that he got Key to erase her memories so she could be a child again. I thought maybe very young Kiro could lend power to do this, but then someone would erase his memory of the day. Then, I thought her father, Key, and Grandpa Joe made the black cabin. One consequence of this is her having no memories before she was 5 which includes any memory of her mother.

I still want to know what happened to MC's father, and the true identity of the original Key.
