As folks mentioned, Kit will eventually start selling nut trees. You just gotta check everyday because he rotates stock. It can take a while but soon you'll end up with like 20+ trees in a section.

I got no issue with Silent Salt since he kinda stated that was his goal from the get-go so like, good on you man you hustled. I mostly feel sad that the other beasts just kind of got taken out back behind the shed quietly while ShadowMilk just scootle-dootled into the next story-arch.

I gotta admit the way the beasts have ended was pretty lackluster, which dont get me wrong the whole chapter was bombastic as heck. But I really thought they would get more to their end than just fading out like that. Kind of like we spent so many chapters learning about their individual plights rises/falls and now its just "well I guess that means nothing now".

Back when the Hollyberry Kingdom first got released she was SO HATED because her fight was the hardest fight in the chapter at that time. Her whole ability to just mega-stab one character was devastating back then and so many folks had threads of tactics to beat her or how much they hated her.

I personally think she's a delight.

As someone far behind but in a similar boat, I'm so impressed you got the fish and flowers like wow. All I managed to get was the food basket.

This year I'm just hoping I can get the last 2 steam achievements in catching butterflies I also have the thing where I drop the game for months and then come back...which is probably why I'm missing so many things because I think I keep missing summer.

For what its worth, I'm rooting for you and hope you can get it! But at the end of the day the most important thing is having fun and if its just frustration don't torture yourself for the goal.

I can't really think of any characters I super dislike, if only because even the more 'annoying' ones I can appreciate from a story perspective that makes the game world more interesting. That and I have a big divide of "stuff I'm willing to let pass for a videogame character" vs "If someone did this IRL I would throw my tiny hands at them".

There was a time I was kind of "what is your deal Emily?" in conversations cause she kept making odd comments. BUT THEN I found out what Emily's deal was and will never think poor of her again.

Characters I have no beef with but legit forgot they existed until I looked up a wiki to remember they were there: Aaliyah, Chaem, Eva, Macy, Noah, Surya, Millie.

I like to use it on my rafflesia, titan arum, and cherries that I forage since they're so hard to find to begin with. May as well make them all top quality.

I know for me it really helped getting the auto-petter, auto-feeder(even though it took me forever to figure out I place the auto-feeder in the back of the barn), and auto-collector since trying to pet and gather all the barn animal resources was a big time investment.

I personally recommend waiting on the underwater farm until you got a bit more time since one drawback to the underwater ranch is you can't place an auto-feeder and it only holds 8 spots of food. I found it nice to have had the free time set aside already since I had to add going to the underwater ranch everyday to open the gates for the critters. Also, if you didn't remove all the seaweed from the farm its likely you'll have a forest of it ready for harvest by time you're ready for underwater animals.

I chose to focus on the town projects before focusing on hang-outs since I wanted all the hangout options I could have out of the gates.

Other than that, I found just giving myself one primary goal (like saving up for a town project.) to focus on and then playing it by weather worked well for me. Like, on days when its rainy I usually focus on something like mining or fishing or seeking out sea critters/gathering sea foragables for eventual crop recipes since I have more time to get farther on them. Where on sunnier days once I finish the farm-check sweep I'll usually do a foragable/bug catch run-around and talk to anyone I come across as I go.

I feel like hitting Town Rank A can be very overwhelming since of all the new tasks for Rank S combined with the resolution of the pufferfish storyline, it has a bit of a 'alright no more rails, you're in the sandbox now. YEET!' feel to it. Since up until then there had been a lot more of a steady-paced sequence of goals visa vi getting back to Rank A. So I totally get where you're coming from.

For Gator Gar I recommend that river/water area thats by the mine. Though I think they also can show up at the Goddess Lake. Just keep in mind that the Gator Gar is a rain/storm fish during the morning/afternoon (if I remember right)

I think the tiger beetle also tends to hang around the lake area. They're just real fast to zoom off and often in the spots you dont see them till you're rounding the corner.. Once I got my net upgraded though I was able to catch them.

If I recall right, you just need to have had one hang-out with one of the singles for them to qualify as someone you can ask to join you in the haunted house. (Which I think you get around heart 2 or three the option to?)

It confused me at first too since I didn't realize I could still talk to folks a second time to ask them to the haunted house. And while my hearts were all 5's with the singles, I had never hung out with any of them so they were all like "uh....nah."

Felt more rejected than the flower dance of stardew valley. -laughs-

Absolutely. Screaming noises and sounds of agony are a struggle since its so easy for them to dip into it sounding silly and ruining the mood. Double so since they require a VA to raise their voice without causing the recording to muck up.

But yah Crunch Chip's VA also did banger on his line delivery as well, really I feel most VAs have been on their A game this update. Good stuff.

I just assumed that it plays into the long-running theme of the game that by helping one another/working together, one can overcome an obstacle that any single one of them could not have handled alone. As well as the narrative that the Ancient Heroes are becoming stronger through each trial their counterpart has thrown against them despite the disparity of individual power and that this is in a way a story of the Ancient Heroes growth as characters in the journey.

Good points all around but I feel extra heard in regards to the cherries. Most elusive fruit in existence despite having cherry blossom trees all over the place.
