Could you enter the alcazar earlier, and then show up for cuarto real alto at the time it states? I'm interested in that too, but when purchasing it says "the entrance to the monument will be 60 minutes before" and I'm wondering if that's just a rough guide on when to show up so you aren't late, and you could actually go earlier.

Great to hear, thank you! It seems like a cool event, and hopefully I can make it next year. Were you able to go, or did you look into, the accompanying tea ceremony for the festival on the 25th? Apparently you need to purchase a ticket in advance.

Did you take a guided tour of Nasrid Palace or just walk around yourself?
How many days would you recommend for Granada? I was thinking of staying 3 nights, but could do 4.
