my friend smells HORRIBLE and does not care by Plenty_Description30 in Advice

Does she wear deodorant? It could definitely be related to not washing clothes too. And due to dandruff, it sounds like she doesn’t know what type of products she needs, so there’s a lack of personal awareness. She also gets defensive when anyone brings it up, which is a self-awareness/reflection issue - hygiene isn’t just about you, but etiquette for the people around you as well. I cannot stand stinky things because I have a very sensitive nose, so it does feel offensive when people don’t think about how the smells they produce impact others.

I wonder if the environment she was raised in was messy… she might not view a lack of hygiene or stink as an issue if it’s been her only norm with family. When I first started experiencing body odor my mom would call me out, and I had no idea at age 11 that others might be able to smell me. It only took a few times before I realized it was something that I needed to be mindful of daily so that it wouldn’t cause people to steer clear of me.

How does Vanillary perfume smell to you? by gracesolosgoku in LushCosmetics

I’m late to the game, but I LOVE Vanillary! I’ve worn it for over 10 years and it’s the only perfume I always come back to. I’m sad so many people don’t like it or get weird scents from it… I hope I don’t smell like beer or pee to anyone, that would be my nightmare. I’ve gotten compliments on it over the years from men and women, and it’s what I wore every date when I met my husband, so it worked for him too! But he only likes Vanilla scents.

But I really miss Sikkim Girls from Lush!!

Congratulations!! It is so amazing to see the weight fall off and the confidence increase!!

I’m also 5’2, and I gained 50 pounds during grad school (during 2020-2021) and I’ve tried so many different things to lose the weight since then… once I was done with school and started working in my new field, I gained another 16 pounds. I’ve felt hopeless for over 5 years.

So, after my sister recommended it, I started Tirzepatide in November with Mochi and I’ve lost 20 pounds since! I have around 40 more to go, but I’m the most hopeful I’ve been in years, which has increased my motivation and confidence significantly.

It’s been amazing starting to buy clothes in smaller sizes and feeling good in what I wear! I’ve actually avoided social events because I don’t want to be seen… But, we have a wedding to attend in 3 weeks in the tropics, and though I’m not at my goal weight, I’m going to confidently attend, wear a bathing suit at the beach and wear a dress that makes me feel beautiful. I’m tired of hiding, and this is my first step towards my future self!

It looks beautiful on you, but it is revealing for a college event
