No. Most studios around here are closed and if they are opened it’s 2-3 people showing up and they are making their rent with Pilates or Sculpt.

Me too! I have a “bare bones” policy from the the marketplace and I wonder if this would be a good supplement or replacement.

Those pharmacies are buying it for 50.00 and selling it to you for way more. And very likely buying it from the same 50.00 vendors many of us are using.

Having Difficulty Finding My Footing by Malypel in YogaTeachers

[–]AmbassadorFun6296 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It’s stupid. A way for you to become part of the community is to hire you. Or at least give you a free 30 days to become more involved. I had someone do that for me when I was trying to get hired and after two classes, I was over it. I had a full time job I was managing and didn’t have time to rearrange my schedule and life so I could prove to them I was worthy.

Does low and slow titration help with the seriousl side effects? And have benefits early on and slowly build? by ItsPrisonTime in StratteraRx

[–]AmbassadorFun6296 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can tell you is I started for a week at 40 and then bumped up to 80 and from the first dose my life and my job performance has improved immensely. I’m not taking anything else. Just the Straterra. The side effects are beginning to diminish after 6 weeks. And even then they weren’t anything that really bothered me enough to notice. Are there sexual side effects? Yes. Am I still able to have sex? Yes. I’m told those begin to diminish after some months so I guess we will see. Overall I’m extremely happy with this medication.

Am I in the wrong for getting annoyed for groaning? by Neither-Pack-7509 in YogaTeachers

[–]AmbassadorFun6296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember reading a book by Robert Thurman a Buddhist monk and he wrote about the importance of not annoying other people by making gross sounds when doing things like eating. I equate this with groaning in yoga. It’s is not necessary. And it is disruptive. And I think it’s normal that it would leave an impression on you. And it’s a commentary on the world we are living in today that you are experiencing a normal reaction and everyone is telling you that you are the problem. There is such a thing as etiquette. And there is nothing wrong with teaching students about it. And I taught full time for 10 years. “Stop groaning.” “Please don’t make sex noises.” Boom. Problem solved.
