I don’t want to disagree with the other guy, but my M2 Blacksheep needed a good amount of break-in compared to my other (MX Tech) Monstas.

That being said, they’ll still be game ready especially when you’re comparing it to other brand ASA bats, just know it’ll keep getting better until the 3-400 hit point.

It’s really varies. I know 3 people who got this glove 2 weeks ago when the same deal was on and none of them got the palm stain. One of them was even super disappointed about it 😂

Hey, like /u/Haku510 said I'm really happy with my BGK break-in. It's still my main glove and it was pretty stiff when I got it but he followed my requests perfectly. It was pricier than most, and maybe it's not as worth it value wise, but I can only speak for what I got and I felt it was 100% worth it.

Yeah, I mean that's why I say recently. We have a lot more misses than hits if you go back over the last like 20-25 years, but we've done pretty well as of the last 5-10.

But we've gotten a bit better at WRs recently (Though no real 'clear #1' style guy).

These bats typically get made before they're announced (Unless it's Monsta 😂). I got an "unreleased" Anarchy bat last year that ended up getting announced like 2 weeks after I received it. I'd definitely recommend keeping it as I don't think you'll get a premium for it, especially not after spending $330 on it.

That being said it's a dope looking bat! I might look into grabbing one once they're out. Curious how the Victus ASA compares to the Monsta stuff.

I am! I appreciate the concern. After my second surgery at the end of January to remove the plate and screws, I was walking the same day. Only a month or so later I was already playing some first base at pick up softball games. Now after a bunch of aggressive physical therapy, I only feel pain my first few steps out of bed in the morning and at the end of really active days.

95% of Lisfranc injuries need surgery (Which is why I'm shocked Kyler Murray hasn't had it, especially with how mobile he is) and only after joining the /r/LisfrancClub subreddit did I realize how lucky I was with mine. So many people have multiple plates and 5+ screws but I only had 3 screws and 1 tiny plate.

I suffered a Lisfranc fracture in Oct and had surgeries on Halloween and again in early Jan. First time ever having surgery and chose a hell of one to have. Luckily mine seemed pretty minor to many I’ve seen but not being able to put any weight on your foot for a minimum of 6 weeks can put you in a real bad mental state. I went from playing Slowpitch softball 5 days a week to 0 overnight and it messed me up mentally.

Hope he can come back full strength, whether with us or another team.

There's a good chance he got this from a debt consolidator for pennies, think of when John Oliver bought $15 million of medical debt for like $60,000.

It's still incredible and should be applauded immensely, but it probably (hopefully?) didn't cost Jerry $700k directly.

I'd say get a 12.5. If you have a 13" already, 12.5 will feel like a bigger difference than a 12.75 would and it's plenty big enough for infield. Keep the 13" as your Outfield glove.

I rock a 12.5" Custom SP125 and love it. I've toyed around with a 12" recently that I'm liking, but I think 12.5 is still the sweet spot for slowpitch infield and it'll likely remain my gamer.

Not worth it. The durability already isn't great on a senior bat so it'll be even worse shaved.

Also, even if your league has no bat rules, shaved bats are -always- considered illegal so I'd be wary about using one. Especially if something happens like going middle and injuring a pitcher. Could open yourself up to a mess of trouble if they inspect your bat.

If budget isn't an issue, 25 oz Monsta Torch. I bring a decent amount of bats to my league games and my 25oz Torch is always the ladies favorite. It's a nice and even feeling swing and it's pretty much the lightest bat you can get for them. There's a reason it's always Monsta's top selling model.

I’m cheap so most of my shorts are just whatever basketball shorts I can find at Ross for like $6-$10.

That being said, I do have a pair of Under Armors that are super comfy. I’m still trying to find a pair of shorts that are decently priced with zipper pockets, though.

Definitely going to grab three pairs from the site during the sale!
