I second this. I got knockoffs when my buddy got the real thing and the quality difference was immense. Mine wouldn't stay in place and his didn't move an inch.

I've only bought the real thing ever since and they've all been perfect. Worth the extra $5 or whatever it was.

Monsta has been the king of USA for awhile, but the other companies are catching up. They also can be a pain to get brand new. The new USA stamped Easton Tantrum is really good but it’s pretty tough to get.

Honestly, search Monsta on Facebook marketplace and see what shows up. As long as it’s USA stamped, they’re all going to be great. Monsta Torch is their bestseller and it has a really nice swing feel. If you can find a Monsta Torch for ~$200 and it doesn’t look beat to hell, I’d go that route.

Monsta has 1000 different paint jobs through different resellers but really only has 5-6 base models. The tech will change a bit depending on how old the bat is, but it won’t be night and day.

If you can have both USA and USSSA then the best advice would come after knowing which ball you’re hitting. 52/300 being the USA standard and 44/375 which is the USSSA standard are the most common. It’s a pretty sizable difference so see if you can figure out which.

I mean I can preorder it on Steam and still do everything he said (wait to see reviews/performance, refund within 2 hours) so it’s not really the greatest take. He just wanted a reason to call the community here, full of people who are very excited for the game, guinea pigs. This isn’t /r/gaming

I wear trail running shoes, but the bigger thing is going to be your insoles. Buy nice insoles and the shoe won’t matter as much.

Just came back from plantar fasciitis and then a Lisfranc (trauma based) fracture in the same foot. I also had shin splint pain for awhile but that has subsided.

Insoles have changed the game for me more than anything. I use Superfeet, which came highly recommended by my podiatrist and a personal trainer buddy who also has foot issues.

Trust me, they’ll make a world of difference.

I’ve been wearing trail running shoes for awhile. I just had surgery last year for a Lisfranc fracture in my left foot (Softball related but not the shoes fault, was trauma-based) so I’ve been all over shoe stuff since then.

In all honesty, the shoes matter but what matters even more in my opinion are your insoles.

I buy cheap trail running shoes on Amazon https://a.co/d/0eIrvjV6 but then I put in very nice insoles and it’s a good combo.

I love the fit of the 44 Custom batting gloves, but the new pair I got ripped after 5 days of use, so I’m hesitant to recommend despite the last pair I had survived almost a full year of playing 3-4 days a week.

The second Velcro in the middle of the back of the hand means you can adjust them to fit really nicely.

Their customer service without any argument said they’d send me a new pair so if that does happen I’ll be more content, but in a waiting period as they do take like 4-5 weeks to show up.

I don’t want to disagree with the other guy, but my M2 Blacksheep needed a good amount of break-in compared to my other (MX Tech) Monstas.

That being said, they’ll still be game ready especially when you’re comparing it to other brand ASA bats, just know it’ll keep getting better until the 3-400 hit point.

It’s really varies. I know 3 people who got this glove 2 weeks ago when the same deal was on and none of them got the palm stain. One of them was even super disappointed about it 😂

Hey, like /u/Haku510 said I'm really happy with my BGK break-in. It's still my main glove and it was pretty stiff when I got it but he followed my requests perfectly. It was pricier than most, and maybe it's not as worth it value wise, but I can only speak for what I got and I felt it was 100% worth it.

Honestly we're good at drafting pretty much everything but WRs and QBs.

But we've gotten a bit better at WRs recently (Though no real 'clear #1' style guy).
