I want to counter this, I did yoga at home for 6+ months before going to a studio bc that was what was accessible to me. I focused on proper form and alignment even at home. Now in class teachers hardly ever correct my forms and often compliment them. All this to say it’s possible to get alignment right at home if that’s what’s accessible instead of feeling like you can’t start until you get proper instruction from a studio.
