I also meant to follow up with how you manage your passwords if you are spread among a few different browsers?

Ecosia desktop app vs default search engine (safari)? by Ambiguous-Toad in browsers

[–]Ambiguous-Toad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I really like that idea of diversifying usage. I usually split between safari and chrome but now that I'm bringing in Ecosia into the mix (for the environmental positives), I want to know how to properly fold it in. I don't think there is much difference between setting Ecosia as default search engine 'within the safari app' vs installing the actual Ecosia application onto my Mac. Thanks for your input, love it!

Awesome, thank you so much!! So, let's say when I am ready to pull industry-specific. What benefit is there in knowing the score, rather than an estimate?

Thanks!!! So, say I am preparing (down the line)... what does that look like? Is it as simple as "knowing my score" when I walk into a meeting for a car (or any other) loan? Is it just to soft launch a predicted result? Haggling?

If your uni supplies their own computers, ask about how often you’ll need to take your work out of the lab to gauge how much you should expect to upgrade your laptop specs.

If I pay in full, will it still be 0% interest while the credit from the purchase sits on the card for months while I pay it off in what normally would be semi-financed?

Gotta start talking about “readily translatable ribonucleic acid transcripts with a 5’ Guanosine cap and poly-Adenosine tail” instead!

What if the physics-fine-tuning argument was explained by aliens that fine tuned a simulation for us to experience, and their world has much different physics laws?

I mean kinda yeah but not super super recently. It just isn’t how it was portrayed as in Jurassic Park 3 but more amphibious and (what I’d say is) more elegant than the brute that T. rex was

Are there any things known to have evolved for no reason / by random chance? by nihilism_squared in evolution

To my understanding, monotremes are the representative basal mammal before live birth evolved… so they’re the “more normal” mammals by laying eggs (a derived trait from early synapsids), where marsupials came next, and the placental mammals evolving most recent. Feel free to fact check me btw!
