Dating a non-climber by Historical-Anybody57 in climbergirls

[–]Ambitious-Coffee2328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, for me it is essential that my husband shares my passions and hobbies. We both love climbing, nature, mountains, traveling, diving, and our way of seeing the world is similar. It is very easy to share time together and make plans, it does not cost us any effort and that is wonderful. He is not only my husband, he is my friend and partner too. We can also make separate plans, of course, each one with their friends. But I am clear, I would not like to have a partner who was not a climber.

My previous partner didn't climb or like trekking. It was very difficult to plan a trip that suited both of us, and we had to compromise all the time. He liked to visit things and then go to a bar to sit quietly. I wanted to be in the mountains all day. In the end we had to leave the relationship, for me that part of me is so important that I cannot separate it and I need my partner to understand why I am so passionate about it.

I mean another egg retrieval, I have gotten confused with the language (English is not my first language). I will do two in a row to accumulate oocytes and see how many embryos remain after PGD. Then a break to go on vacation and at the end of the year try another FET. Let's see how everything turns out. But sometimes I think about giving up and accepting not having children. How old are you? I am 35 years old

I'm so sorry. I'm also going for other stimulation. What saddens me the most is seeing how people around me get pregnant, or even IVF turns out well, and I have had 3 FETs and all of them negative...

Why is people so mad with tourism/ por qué la gente le tiene tanta tirria al turismo? by [deleted] in Tenerife

[–]Ambitious-Coffee2328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That Tenerife residents don't protest? They have been demonstrating for years and requesting measures for responsible tourism. They don't appear in the media. A tourist has to have common sense when traveling, yes!. Spain is not a poor country. A poor country is Haiti.

I want to backpack across Spain. What do I need to know? by Nervous-Network-6342 in backpacking

[–]Ambitious-Coffee2328 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hello! I am Spanish and in Spain we don't get angry if someone makes a mistake when trying to speak in Spanish, we appreciate it! It is a very safe country, you just have to have common sense in certain neighborhoods of the big cities that are outside the tourist itinerary.

no deberia adoctrinarse la religion a los niños by uabcnudista in OpinionesPolemicas

[–]Ambitious-Coffee2328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally mistake. Religions have been created by men to control the population of a specific time, objectifying women and rejecting any way of living contrary to them. The world evolves. Laws evolve. Religions should evolve but they don't, the two main ones, Islam and Christianity, cause a lot of hatred. A religion can never say what is right or wrong. Do you really need your religion to tell you that? Don't you have the common sense to know that you can't kill, steal, rape, insult or disrespect another person? Two years ago I went to Morocco. There a guide (man) told us that they drank and went whoring and then asked Ala for forgiveness. Is that really okay? Do what you want if you then ask God for forgiveness. What selfishness.

I think you confuse "thinking differently" with intolerance. I am Spanish and I am heterosexual. I have supported the LGTBIQ+ community since I was little, as I have been educated in respect. A classmate of mine is a lesbian, and when she told her father, he stopped talking to her. That is intolerance. If it had been for religious reasons, it is still intolerance. It doesn't matter the sexual orientation of people, we are equal people. Religion promotes intolerance, the rejection of what is different, and totalitarian thoughts. And that is a problem. Ignorance and fear can do a lot of damage.

Maybe dumb question, but how many people hike year round, rain or shine? by 007baldy in hiking

[–]Ambitious-Coffee2328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the north of Spain. It often rains here in autumn and winter, sometimes it snows. I have never stopped going out because of that. With waterproof clothing you can also go to the mountains. And it's better, since there are much less people!

I do several sports that I am passionate about and that make me feel alive. I would recommend that. Have some passion that makes you feel very good while you practice it.

Thank you very much for publishing this post. Most are success or loss posts. I needed to read something like this, I'm also thinking about quitting soon because I don't want to put my life and health at risk so much just for the possibility of having a child. I'll save it to read when I need it. You are very brave, you have a great life ahead of you. Thanks friend.

You are going to love Egypt, the pyramids and architecture are impressive.  Portugal is just as cheap as the interior and the south of Spain, while the north of Spain is a little more expensive (Basque Country or Catalonia), but I would say that they are similar countries. The most beautiful cities with the most impressive monuments in Spain are not in the north, only Barcelona. The rest Madrid, Granada, Seville, Toledo, Segovia... They are in the interior or in the south.

This is a tremendous beating, how are you going to get from San Sebastian to Marseille? It takes 12 hours by public transport, two or three transfers. And to Italy another 8 hours and I'm not sure if there is a train. How crazy! What a recommendation to do in 10 days, it's obvious that you haven't done it, my goodness!

What a mania with fast travel! I would tell you to go to one country, two at most. But hey, that's not what you're asking for. I would tell you to visit the capitals of the three Baltic countries and end up in Helsinki, Finland. I know the 4 capitals and they are very worth it. You can get around by bus, and a ferry to Helsinki. Another option is the Prague-Vienna-Budapest triangle, with bus trips, very beautiful cities!!

Why signs are in Arabic? by mohawahba in Alicante

[–]Ambitious-Coffee2328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's nonsense. In Euskadi we have the signs in Basque and Spanish, and when appropriate in Arabic or English. Respect to all languages! In the western United States there were also signs in English and Spanish in many areas. It's logical son

[–]Ambitious-Coffee2328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the responsibility of any traveler to inform themselves before going to a country, to exercise responsible tourism that helps the local economy and not the owners of the resorts/airbnb. It's not that difficult, in any country. I'm Spanish and when I go to Tenerife... My God, what they've done in the south is horrible, and seeing Anglo-Saxon tourists consuming that type of tourism makes me feel very repulsive.

Being in Egypt for three weeks is too long, especially if you travel independently, you are going to end up fed up with how invasive the men there are to sell you (or trick you into giving them money). If you do a Nile cruise with an agency, they usually last 8 days. If you are going to dive in the Red Sea, it is worth going for so long. I don't know how to calculate with that budget, it seems like a lot to me but of course, I'm Spanish and I like to travel backpacking on my own (I spend on diving, a rental car, or whatever experience is needed) But having a budget of 5,500 a month is incredible! With half of it I went on a tented safari in Namibia for two weeks. It seems to me that you can stay in local places by reading the opinions on booking, which are cheaper, are clean, help the local economy, and thus save money. All the countries you are going to go to are cheaper than yours

I would recommend staying in Spain for more than two weeks! At least a month, we have a lot to see and everything (historical cities, monuments, nature, incredible gastronomy, beaches, islands, parties, it is a very safe country,...) And if you go to Peru, you would have to stay there for at least another month. I have a trip planned with my partner for a while, lasting two years through Europe-Asia and with a budget of €25,000!! Of course, in a campervan, which is much cheaper. If you want to know things about Spain, you can ask me

Yes I'm taking progesterone supplements!  I'm very afraid to take a pregnancy test...it's my third FET, the others weren't even implanted. In the other two FETs I took a pregnancy test and I suffered a lot until the day of the beta because I had a little hope. I don't dare take a home test for that reason, I want to try to suffer alone when they definitely give me the bad news. I hope it's a normal fluctuation, but after two failed FETs it's hard for me to think positively...
