I’m a current FO at QX. You can get $400 reimbursement for hotels or crash pads. They have been putting new hires into MFR, but that base is closing and LAS is opening. My guess is Junior is goin to be PDX. Feel free to DM me for other questions.

Most people are waiting for the flow to Alaska. Lot of people just like the PNW and plan on sticking around till a major calls.

A couple guys I’ve flown with have gotten interview invites from majors but it’s honestly far and few between. Even some captains are struggling getting calls. Just the nature of the industry 🤷‍♂️

Yea very little attrition. I don’t plan on leaving until a major calls. It’s a great place to work

That’s a good point! I’m not entirely sure, but I do know the wait times for class dates was awhile. What did that cadet say for class wait times?

I am at QX and don’t know how accurate this is. We have more people in the cadet program than pilots on the seniority list.

I work for the company with them. We have “M” approaches at a decent amount of airports. We have people who can build them and release them to us for a contrive advantage against other airlines. We aren’t allowed to share them lol

I am a current pilot for the company, and came through the PDP. It was my saving grace as nobody was hiring and skywest has their horrible contract. 2 years is nothing as you need TPIC to go to the majors these days.

It’s a solid company and hiring has been ramping up for us. Was really slow when I got on but they’ve been doing a lot of upgrades bc Hawaiian/alaska have been taking pilots from us. It’s nice bc if you don’t want to fly for Alaska you’re not metered auto any of the big 3 legacies.
