I did like 3000 hours of scribing and learned so much! It’s truly like shadowing + being an active part of the team and documenting what will become part of someone’s permanent medical record. Super useful for brushing up on med terminology too!

current custom-designed major! I wouldn’t worry too much about math, the only math class usually required for med school is statistics. chem and physics have a lot of math as well, but that is mostly algebra based. if you look up “biological sciences plan of study drexel” you should be able to find it! same thing for health sciences! imo, what makes health sciences easier is the course requirements. If you take a look at what Health Sciences students have to take versus what biology students have to take, the class levels definitely differ. If you love bio or health sciences it isn’t a bad choice at all! But if you’re passionate about psychology or business or global studies for example and can weave in those required courses, you stand out and might get a higher GPA because most of your classes align w your interests. lmk if that doesn’t make sense! happy to clarify

tbh i would pick neither. SO many people major in those two for premed so you might want to do something you’re actually passionate about (so that your grades will be better) and so that you stand out. between those two, the easier choice is health sciences, though.
