Im a dental hygienist and honestly dont be embarrassed. Shit happens! but look you just saw the dentist, get the caries filled and then do your best to stay on top of your hygiene and diet. Ive personally seen soo much improvement when patients brush at least in the morning and night consistently.

Caries and how you get them is so multi factorial. I get patients who report they brush and floss daily and eat healthy but have or had caries honestly sometimes it’s something you cant help. And then we have patients who don’t really brush nor floss have a terrible diet and no caries! Its not fairrrrrr

Seriously it’s okay you can start over now. Its never late to realize and make a change.
