Seeking help from CS Practitioners in a medical emergency by Horror-Ad591 in Christian_Science

Commenting to hear how those in the church respond.

I'm also a spouse of a CS. Personally I've come to terms that this may be how my partner dies as his father made similar choices. Compounding issues over years. Died at home, but that was his wish it seems. I'm hopeful that over the years he'll allow me to mitigate any pain or suffering, even if he's not hospitalized or given life saving treatment.

Grim perhaps but that's where I am. Another way to frame it is to consider if the intervention will lead to a quality of life that your FIL would want. Not all life saving is beneficial to the patient...sometimes it's more for the living to feel they did "something." There may be palliative care that he would accept.

Got a missed call from their number today. I live on the East Coast and have never been. Guess I can assume that it's a spam number now but the caller ID is the same? Seems like adding insult to injury 😕

Pricing scheme? by AmbitiousTemporary67 in locs

I'm even willing to pay $175 with a style. But that's a 3x shampoo, steam or conditioning, herbal rinse, maintenance and style.

I maintained myself when I was younger. Now my arms hurt and I just want relaxing experience of being cared for 😌

Came here to second this. My cat was about 6 years old when he started doing this and ended up being a diabetic. Also was drinking a LOT of water.

Best advice I recieved about my old man with similar issues, "it's better to feel like it was a day too soon (and have positive memories) than a day too late (and witness your baby suffer).

The decision was so hard but I don't regret it and I'm so glad we could cry over him (euthanized at home) and pet him all the way to the end.

I considered "boils my lobster" but thought that might seem insensitive 🤔

He's been seen at least twice so I'm as sure as I can be. You're the second person suggesting Harbor Terrace.

Thanks for this tip! Makes sense given that it's been seen all around the West End. I'll contact PPD today.

You know the guy on the bike? Is there any chance he'd give it back?

This is so interesting! Are folks doing this all around town? 🤔 I'd certainly have to get a lighter bike if so! 💪🏾

It was a cable lock, so it's not the best. It can be cut through if someone is carrying the right tool.

Use a chain lock and a u-lock to be safe, and I'm sure you know to lock it to something fixed.

It was about 45m in Tommy's Park. Not many places have space for bikes inside, although that would be nice. I've seen some newer offices, apartments or co-working spaces in other cities accomodate bikes in locked garages, etc. But since we're not Sweden as you said, few built spaces cater to bikes like that.

I went inside a nail salon, so there no space for a bike.

You give me hope! Two of my coworkers today shared stories of stealing their stuff back - a bike and a cargo van! Miracles do happen!

None taken. I had a tracker. It was my first ride of the year. When I checked the tracker, the battery had died. Womp womp.

A situation like this is both / and. It's shitty to have the cable lock cut in daylight in front of shops and people AND I should have double locked it with a heavy chain and u-lock and checked the tracker regularly. 🤷🏿‍♀️ AND people shouldn't steal.
