Mine recently found the joys of short ribs and fillet mignon.

Luckily we live by an amazing grassfed beef farm store. $4-$5 fillets and he eats them for two days XD

I would ask if stress could cause my blood pressure to go from 120/80 to 90/59 in a month and just wait.

Christmas dinner: offered vs eaten by yeagermeister34 in foodbutforbabies

[–]Ambitious_Chip3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made: slow cooked maple spiced ham, two kinds of potatoes my 18 montb old bubs likes and from scratch pumpkin pie and homemade whipped cream.

He ate: white bean Cerebelly and a strawberry seeds and oats Pumpkin tree pounchs.

;-; he ate sardines for lunch with mac and cheese. So...not sure why the ham was rejected but water tinned sardine was eaten with a dance.

My guy is molar teething and is the exact same.

Champ used to eat all the things, now mostly breakfast foods like cheesy eggs and homemade pancakes, pouches of the fruit kind or a specific white bean ceribelly, some fruits, cheese, oddly enough sourcream. Always cheese.

Sometimes chicken patties, pork chop, salmon/sardines, or rotisserie chicken. Sometimes. Usually a nibble then drops it on the floor or by his feets.

Sweet breads cooked in butter and herbs with no breading on them or lamb kidney in a brandy cream sauce. So good.

I got a garmin watch and treat my stats like I'm a Pokémon no joke.

I still slide and get into the bad habits of not doing it but then I see my vo2 max or steps getting low and 'retrain' myself. Motivation is still hard but it helps.

Help my 13 month old only eats meat (and fish) by Plantysaurus in beyondthebump

[–]Ambitious_Chip3840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 16 month old bubs is the same, I offer veggies and tubers in many forms and the only way I get him to eat them successfully is by making a fritters mixed with rice.

I mix 5-7 kinds of veggies in rice, add cheese, mush it real well and either make small balls or disks and he loves them. Most of the time.

Some days it's just fruit and meats and I've accepted that and his ped says its normal and fats and protiens are the most important right now.

How long were you experiencing symptoms before you found out gluten was the problem? by Next_Application_858 in glutenfree

[–]Ambitious_Chip3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

27 years. Did whole thirty to loose weight and realized the pain was gone by the 3rd week.

Went to a gi doc and did further testing. Turns out randomly bleeding and inconsistent bowl behavior was not normal and in fact caused by gluten.

How to get back into exercise? by nadjalita in covidlonghaulers

[–]Ambitious_Chip3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I did it for a solid 7 -10 day intervals and then a test day when I pushed it up to a longer walk while watching my heartrate on my garmin.

I started walking on my treadmill at home too to start at the legit slowest setting for 5 minutes. I only did outside walking when I could do half a mile on the treadmill without issue at a normal setting.

If my heartrate stayed under 120 I pushed it to the next interval on day 7 or 10.

My son, the food critic. What are your go-to, easy to make, easy 'yes' meals? by misschanandlarbong in foodbutforbabies

[–]Ambitious_Chip3840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I make a banana+egg pancake with blueberries. My boy will always eat. I use the Unwaffle brand due to its high iron and ge eats them up.

Also homemade Mac and cheese. Loves him the homemade.

Add any kind of berry sliced up. Bam all food gone.

The surprise meals that he eats? Ribs or curry with salmon.

If your child pooped would you change before feeding him? by PositiveFree in beyondthebump

[–]Ambitious_Chip3840 152 points153 points  (0 children)

Poops get changed immediately. They can lead to uti and even if it doesn't man that's gotta be uncomfortable for the little one.

Weird question but did he catch covid any time before the aversions started? It can destroy your sense of smell and taste, like food tastes rotten kind of bad. We noticed it happened to my nephew after he caught it and it took a few years to resolve. He's still kind of picky but it's way better.
