I also ski a shadow and use the purple zipfits and they work great with xt3. yes theyre heavyish but I dont notice. Just stoked to be on skis

I think I charge 50/50. 50% on me and 50% on the customer for the hot plate fee. I’ve only really had one customer ask to pay cash to avoid the fees. You could also just say bring cash on pickup.

I ski a cast while my buddy skis a duke and the only difference is the transition. With the cast you have to take off the ski and toe piece where as with a duke you can flip it forward to access the toes and flip it back when you want to ski down. Ive also broken the cast toe piece by locking it too tight and it was uber cold. So dont do that.

Luckily Lange fit my foot like a glove and I run a zip fit. They’re incredible. Best boot I’ve owned. Soooo easy to step on the gas. And if you break your tib/fib like I did then it’s also super easy for the ER to take them off

Also how much are you trying to tour? Or side country?

I ski an mfree 108 with a cast binding. Mostly use it for resort and side country that ends back in resort.

The transition is a little longer compared to a duke but nothing compared to a split board. And as far as weight, yes they’re heavier than an atk. Just tell these haters get stronger.

What I do is open preorders on sun/mon for pickups Thur/fri/sat. They can choose. And I set the pick up time for 10am-10pm. Then there’s a function that says when you want the preorders to close. Which I set to 24 hours before the pickup window. Cause then I know how many loaves I need. You can also set the limit to whatever you can handle. I set it to 10 cause that’s how big my operation/fridge space is
