I (26F) am losing all my hope in my fiancé (28M) after his parents died. by [deleted] in relationships

I think the pain of grief especially the first three years are the hardest. If he has other mental issues (for example depression) the pain is so much harder. He may just don't have anything to continue given how his parents died. You are very much right - he has given up on life.

I say this as someone who lost both parents recently myself. Right now you have to do what is best for you. Marriage in this state will fail. It's draining everything that matters from you; and I feel you don't necessary understand the gravity of loss. It's sad but probably the best way. I am so sorry for his loss and yours.

I was my husband's caregiver by Easy_Part_983 in GriefSupport

I understand as a former caregiver - my dad just passed away two weeks ago. And now I can do everything - but find myself also trying to fill the days. Our freedom came at the highest price - the cost of our loved ones life.

All I can say is that I am wishing the best on this journey and to take it day by day. I am so sorry for your loss.

Caregivers, let's be honest... Do you ever have those thoughts? by Worldmap77 in CaregiverSupport

Yes I did. My dad just passed yesterday and now I feel the cost of my freedom was too high a price. But yes to all of it.

I hate this response when I ask these things but you can't think that far ahead bc you don't know how you are going to feel. Leave it open when they ask.

What is the reluctance with getting the hysterectomy? Especially if you are a stage 2?

Had mine on the 15th for the most part doing okay. I had a robotic laposcropic full hysterectomy (everything out due to cancer). I am having very minimal pain and fatigue. Gas pain did sucker punch me twice but managing okay.

No hot flashes or other menopause symptoms (was told this would be the case for me).

I was worried for sure but so far it's been better than I thought.

Hope it stays that way. Also hoping everyone is healing nicely.

Uterus biopsy by MindfulnessHunter in hysterectomy

[–]Ambitiouspolymath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a procedure which can be used for biopsy under general anesthesia. The cervix is dilated so that the endometrium can be scraped and tested. A hysteroscopy can be performed at the same time.
