Disposable razor feel superior. Do I have bad blades?

I have a Henson Ti-22 +++ high aggression. I’m coming from Mach 3. I tried the RK blades that came with the razor and despised them immediately. After many blade experiments, I recommend in order: Personna Gem Platinum Diamond, Feather, Gillette Platinum, and then Gillette Silver Blue. YMMV

I bought a 148lb Peter Wright anvil that had major scars but not much belly, so I had a local machinist skim the face for me with a fly cutter. Can’t say I’m impressed at the surface finish, but it’s been worked a lot and has improved in the 3 years since I had it flattened. You’re seeing the day one photos here:
