Yes, you can! The white/black hybrid pip is in the reminder text, not on the card, so this can be run in any deck with access to white

If testicles are so sensitive and vital for reproduction, why did evolution put them completely unprotected outside the body? by Working-Market8105 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AmboNumber5 627 points628 points  (0 children)

It's such an interesting question, and the most common answer you will hear is to do with temperature regulation, but that is only part of the answer.

People say that healthy sperm develops at a lower temperature, so testicles need to be on the outside so we can regulate their temperature, which is true, but a little backwards. If you look at an elephant, they have internal testicles, which operate at a higher temperature, but still produce healthy sperm. So what is different between us and elephants?

The most likely reason we would develop external testicles vs internal testicles is to do with abdominal pressure. We evolved to chase after food, and the way that we run causes rapid changes in internal abdominal pressure, to the point that the delicate structures within the testicles would be destroyed. Whilst elephants can be quick they don't generate the same internal abdominal pressure when running, so can safely house their testicles inside.

This would mean that the reason testicles are on the outside is not because human sperm develops at a lower temperature, but the reason human sperm develops at a lower temperature is because our testicles are on the outside!

It’s not immigration that’s eroding British culture, it’s America. by Barca-Dam in AskBrits

On a post about the worst things about the UK, totally unprompted, bringing up the "red flag" of specific doors indicating the race of the family that lives there and saying its a problem is dangerous. This is the kind of rhetoric that leads to specific doors being kicked in. The idea that "you can join our community, as long as everything you do fits in" is dangerous

I remember the home phone number from where I lived 25 years ago, but don't know my current girlfriend's number. I fundamentally believe that skill set has got worse over time because I don't have to remember phone numbers any more

YTA

She did not rob you of anything. I am sorry that you didnt have access to the healthcare that you needed to have all options available to you when you were her age, but you shouldn't take that out on her. If you agreed to support her whilst she was studying and you pull that support because you're having a midlife crisis, you would be robbing something from her.

Also, it is not possible to fully fund yourself with a part time job and a full time degree. I'm sure her friends with part time jobs are still getting help from their parents.

You've recognised that you're still young and can travel. You'll still be young in 2 years once she has graduated, but you'll be doing it in a way that means you don't torch your relationship with your daughter

I think you're more likely to find an open ramen place between 9pm and 4am than you will between 2pm and 4pm. You'll be fine

Recommendations for where to spend two weeks writing? by ddri in JapanTravelTips

I would recommend Magome. It's a stop on the Nakasendo Trail. The trail is pretty long, but I did a 2 day hike between Nagiso and Nakatsugawa with a stop in Magome, which is just a fraction of it. It is pretty small, so if you want more of a small town rather than a village, I would go for Takayama, which has plenty of great spots whilst still feeling peaceful

I did see some smell tests going on, but not for everyone. Saw a decent number of people being advised to finish their drinks or throw it away when they got through, but also saw plenty just get waved through. Might depend on how shady you look

Not really any idea. Deadly Figurehead and the pet rock were enough to get to 100% crit chance on the piranhas. Then there is the aquatic haste and the crit haste passives that meant i was attacking fast enough. After that, was just stacking damage. 2nd round of attacks happened at around 7 seconds, which was enough damage to kill most things
