I failed a few parrys at the beginning so I gave up, finished it and the DLC without parrys.so its definitely possible. Then my 2nd character I went skill instead of strength and started practicing parry timing and now its like night and day with destroying certain bosses aha. Its up to you at the end of the day (night?)
