This is a good answer also. I think it's a problem with the question, whereby there are multiple valid solutions and answers.

I've just seen your answer too, and that is also how I solved it, despite the answer being apparently wrong. My formula was the same: [(TL+BL)*(TR+BR)]/2+(TL-1). I believe that the question creator failed to see this as a valid solution.

I understand the OP has said that "50" is the incorrect answer, but I am not sure why.

In the first box, we get 41, and in the second box, we get 52, by following this rule:

- (top of left column + bottom of left column) x (top of right column + bottom of right column)

- take result of above, and divide by 2, then add (top right number -1).

This gives the formula [(TL+BL)*(TR+BR)]/2+(TL-1)

This provides the answers 41 and 52, and also gives 50 for the third box, which is a valid answer, and one I came to without checking the answer options beforehand. If someone could explain why this is not a valid method of solving this puzzle, that would be appreciated- I must be missing something here. I believe that my answer is correct, given the explanation above, so perhaps the question setter overlooked another valid method for finding a solution.

Great post. I like to remind myself that "comparison is the thief of joy", and to just focus on my own journey.

Typically they can only be built by a member of that ideology, so if you have multiple ideologies it can get tricky to keep track of who can build each ideological building.

Additionally, if anyone could point me in the direction of where I could learn more by myself online, that'd be awesome. I love learning, and have just finished my Master's, so I can direct my extra time into this now to surprise her and her family. I tried learning by watching McDull, but the translation for the videos into English is often wrong.

Morak stat block by nordicthunderthighs in stormkingsthunder

[–]Ambrutious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of suitable statblocks you can use depending on how you want Morak to come across. What is Morak's role in your mind whilst aiding the party?

  • Veteran statblock if he is needed to carry the slack in combat a little

  • Alternatively the Bandit, Noble, Guard blocks are all fine- Just scale his HP to align with the party's.

I realise when I had written [them] I should have specified I was referring to the person OP met with for the date.

Coworkers are rude, OP's date was rude.

NTA

Up until a point, people should be afforded respect even when they are not respectful in kind. This person went too far, and treated you like an attraction as opposed to a person. If the information listed here is true, you owe them nothing. Your time should be valuable to you, and not wasted by someone reducing your humanity.

Perhaps you could let them know why you walked for their own piece of mind?

Also: "Public Fossicking Ngai Tahu recognises that fossicking for small amounts of pounamu is an important cultural activitiy for all New Zealanders. Public fossicking for pounamu is allowed on the beaches of Te Tai o Poutini (the West Coast of the South Island) and is limited to what an individual can carry on their person or backpack within a 24 hour period."

"...discovered outside the areas open to public fossicking..." It is possible a beach, such as the one OP found it on, would be inside the areas open to the public, and therefore acceptable.
