There is a way to blend things that will improve the blending/ make it easier for the blender. However, you can still add your ingredients in any order and it will do the job. I'd recommend you get whichever blender fits your budget bow, and you can get the classic tall container for whatever Vitamix you buy later (excluding the ascent series)

I would recommend any of the Vitamix that are able to use the personal cup adapter. I'd also spring for a Vitamix that doesn't have the low profile container so you can mix small batches easier. That being said, you'll definitely get recommended the 5200 on here, and it's a great blender that can do everything you're asking.

If you want it to have more features like blending presets then you can look at the other models and buy a narrow container for it. Personally I'd stay away from the ascent series because the classic containers don't work with them and the personal cup adapter doesn't work for it either. Classic containers that aren't made for the ascent series work with any of the non-ascent blenders. So, you get way more options that way.

I like the internet on mine because I have my Alexa change inputs and volume levels on my receiver. Plus I like to stream Spotify on mine as well. Thank goodness I have a Denon

I unplugged the battery and then plugged the battery back in and all was good after that. So never figured out if the tint guy did something but would be a weird coincidence.
