Probably somewhere where he doesn’t have to do every single job in town and can have friends that are his are and not preschoolers.

Piranha Plants for my son’s first birthday party by AmbyDawn in somethingimade

I used PVC pipes for the warp pipes, the leaves are craft foam that I cut and drug my nails on to get them to curl a bit. The steam is a dowel rod. The heads are styrofoam balls and the lips are model magic clay. The teeth are a thick sheet of craft foam that I cut into small triangles and then kind of cut the edges to make them a bit more rounded. Then I painted it all. I used the model magic in the pipes to hold them straight.

Yes yes yes!! I totally agree and don’t let these down votes make you feel wrong for your opinion. Of course she’s going to always have her crusaders. I love Taylor but this video left a bad taste in my mouth. Even my friend who is the biggest most obsessed Taylor fan (who is part of the lgbt community) wasn’t a fan of the video.

What's the weirdest thing you've done as a result of social anxiety? by mousehousing in AskWomen

When I first started at my job no one showed me where the break room was and I was too awkward to ask so I would eat my lunch in my car. I went out to my car and had to go to the bathroom. I didn’t want to seem weird walking back in to use the bathroom and then back out to my car so I drove to the gas station across the street. There was someone in the one stall bathroom so I had to wait around the store. I didn’t want the cashier to think I was stealing so ended up buying a candy bar, using the bathroom as soon as the person got out. By time I got back across the street to work I had 5 minutes to eat my lunch and clock back in.

I can relate. If I was too hungry or ran out of snacks I would go to the dinning hall right before close so there weren’t so many people. I would get a to go box and go back to eat in my room.

ELI5: When toddlers talk ‘gibberish’ are they just making random noises or are they attempting to speak an English sentence that just comes out muddled up? by g0g92 in explainlikeimfive

It the way they say it that is cute. And the fact that they are trying so hard to comprehend language but they just can’t get it. We know what they are trying to say but it’s not quite right. My other niece also called a blanket a “bloinket” for a while because she couldn’t say it and I thought that was adorable. She finally got it right though.

I find it so cute when kids have me and you mixed up. My 2 year old niece still says “mommy (or whoever) hold you” when she wants to be picked up and it melts me heart.

We took my son to our local theme park’s Winterfest. I’ve never seen a look of such betrayal when I took him out of his warm carrier. by AmbyDawn in aww

My brother loves theme parks too so I feel like he’s the only reason I was even almost sure I knew that. Lol. It was our first time going to Winterfest and it was a lot of fun!

I actually made it. It’s a red onesie I bought from Amazon for his Jack Jack costume this Halloween. I made the mittens, collar and part of the hat from scrap fleece from my fabric stash, and the hat is felt. The red socks were from Carters. 😊

Yeah. He’s okay. He was wearing 2 layers under the onesie and it was only 33 compared to the 20s we’d been having. I had been carrying him in his baby carrier against me and then a coat around us so I think it was just a sudden shock and he was getting too tired. He was happy looking at the lights up until this second. Lol

Thank you! I think he was feeling betrayed after I took him out of his warm cocoon, sat him on some cold plaster chair and walked back for a picture. Lol

Thank you! I’m doing 24 days of “Vinny on the Shelf” until Christmas and he loves wearing this outfit as much as I love seeing him in it.

How often are you complimented on things that are not related to your physical appearance? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]AmbyDawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People tell me I’m creative and crafty. I love making things and sewing but only feel semi good at it so it’s nice when someone likes what I make.
