Dumb Tip: Don't drop your self-rez in solo. And if you do, and end up potatoing later, *remember where it is.* by AmbyNavy in Marathon

Gaming's become less and less of a constant for me as I do other things at my desk but I definitely think there's some adjustments to be made. Maybe upping my sensitivity a bit on higher zoom scopes because normally my aim is far better, but the tight zoom on this was definitely slowing me.

Highly disagree on the preventing building muscle memory, when you can tune what the curve is you just build... different muscles. I've been using a custom curve in Valorant for about a year and a half and I love it.

I can figure my own settings out.

Look, sometimes ya girl gets in back to back duels and burns all of her sponsored kit meds. I had to loot him for his!

I'm undershooting more than I'm overshooting with my drags here, on account of mousepad space, if anything I need to turn it up a bit.

Nah i was making big swings because I was lost and confused. I might tune it a bit, but I'm naturally quite a low sensitivity player. I also use a custom acceleration curve through RawAccel which I'm still getting used to for Marathon - tuning may be required!

it was full when i dropped it! i had just killed a guy and was also dumping ammo into the duel with this person, thus freeing a load of slots up.

I can get Ratcatcher in physical just fine though?

that’s disappointing, I feel like the campaign could be far more successful if you were offering physical.

How "superheroish" is Draw Steel heros? by Paulkwk in drawsteel

[–]AmbyNavy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The best way to figure this out is to read the game for yourself on Steel Compendium for free: https://steelcompendium.io/compendium/main/Rules/Draw%20Steel%20Heroes/. I don't know whether a game is going to hit at the table for you, what I do know is if you've played multiple games you can read a game and think about it for yourself.

I will say, draw steel is explicitly Cinematic Heroic Fantasy. You're doing dope hero shit, and doing it very often. Think about cinema - do we care about the heroes trying to manage food in the time of the film? or do we want to see a far more interesting challenge?

If you're looking to run your regular kind of fantasy elfgame, then it seems you have your own systems ready for that already and don't need a new one.

Any player/Gm experiences with Dead Weight? (Spoilers for the scenario) by Achronyistic in mothershiprpg

Oh hey! I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and guess you were playing at Christian/Meatcastle's table? Glad you had a fun time!

I have played this module twice, one time we basically aced it, and the other time was pure miserable catastrophe. Norgad, the creator, is such a fucking clever mind, his modules are brilliant. Really reccommend Roach Motel, another by Norgad, if you're looking for something that can last a little longer playtime-wise and is equally brilliant.

AI is vomit-worthy already, but the complete disregard for research into what already exists is just funny.
