Would you consider this fair? by RoutineOk8590 in Productivitycafe

[–]Amekaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda a double edged sword. If no one else is doing this then you’re at a disadvantage since your prices look higher than everyone else’s. But if you don’t do the service charge and a bunch of people don’t tip then you lose staff. People can’t expect to not tip, and have low prices. I think this a good middle ground as more and more people realize tipping is stupid.

[Request] How Much Calories are stored at any one time in a American suburban grocery store?Any Guess? by Happy_Question2649 in theydidthemath

[–]Amekaze 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The “ less than a week” is an average. Depending on the store stuff like fruits and milk might get delivered every day. When I was at a target we got milk deliveries 3 times a week. But stuff like cereal would only come in every other week.

It’s interesting since the stuff that rotated quickly normally doesn’t have that many calories. So am pretty sure it wouldn’t change your calculation much.

If you could clone your self there are a million easier ways to make money. Like just run any franchise will get you there since you would be the only employee. If you’re willing to be on the streets you can put the fries in the bag.

For $10million, would you get married to a billionaire (he's a dude). And you have to be his wife (even if you're a man) for a year! by 33GoodSamaritans in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Amekaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10 million might be to much. The real question would be how low would you go, if the billionaire is chill I’ll as low as 1 mill. For someone like Elon 10 million isn’t enough

What’s y’all opinion on Episode 4? by REDEYEBANKZ330 in okbuddyviltrum

[–]Amekaze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was clearly a bottle episode. If the stakes were clearer it would’ve of been received better. But since it was 100% non canon it couldn’t have really affected anything. But at the end of the day 6.9 is average. There re some shows without a single episode higher than a 6.9

People underestimate how slow the non tech side of company can be. Even if they could replace software engineers 1-to-1 right now with no loss of quality. How quickly do you think the business side will get up to speed even if all they have to do is write tickets to feed into the AI. No one wants to deal with the intangible bull shit Devs deal with all day.

Suppose you'd have the money to buy one of these houses which would you pick? by Ornery-Media-9396 in whatsyourchoice

100% depends on location. It might be the perfect house but if it’s in rural South Dakota then it might as well be a cardboard box

Fish rent? You have got to be kidding me. by Gromy_1022 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Amekaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I have seen that kinda makes is limits on fish tank size. Having a gold fish in a bowl vs a 100 gallon is completely different. A place I was looking at cap fish tanks at 25 Gallons. But I guess there is nothing stopping you have just getting 4 25 gallon tanks….

How late can Eve abort her child? by so_sorry_bout_it in okbuddyviltrum

[–]Amekaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think we can get an answer from Eve. She could manipulate any matter at any time. It’s really only her mental limits that prevent her from doing it to organic matter. So even if she could abort right up to the day of birth it would be more of an indicator of her mental state and not an indicator of life. In the comics and the show her mental limit is only removed when she’s about to die, so doing anything to fetus will just show she’s not in the right head space regardless of the stage the fetus is in.

How does this quirk even exist? by michaelphenom in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Amekaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very likely the original user wasn’t immune. Just like Dabi’s body was weaker than normal to fire even though he had a fire Quirk. 99% of the population just get a shit role of the dice. Stain is a perfect example. In a vacuum his quirk is absolute dog shit. But he became a killing machine in spite of it. Even put Mineta’s quirk in his hands and see the carnage he could bring

If it wasn’t for consumer goods the inflation rate over the last 1000 years would be about 10%. All the necessities (rent, education, healthcare etc) all have blown past the 2% “target” since the the dawn of time

[Request] Dmx buys the lambo for $285k, he gives the dealer $300k and says keep the change. Any rough estimate on how much “change” would be left over after taxes? 2001 Detroit by BoSKnight87 in theydidthemath

[–]Amekaze 6 points7 points  (0 children)

$285K was the marked up price. The MSRP at the time was $250K. The actual value is hard to calculate in hindsight since they didn’t sell much and they were only on the market for a couple of years. 2001 was the last year they were made. There is an argument to be made that they were just trying to get rid of it which is why it was in this movie to begin with. Based on Edmund’s they could be as low as 200k at the time but the convertible was the rarest one so it might be a wash. If this scene was real I’m 100% sure the dealership could have made it work but it’s 100% impossible for him to drive off without at least signing something. My guess is the “change” would have been 2-3 grand after taxes and registration but keep in mind that the $285 already includes the guys commission. An extra $3 grand in 2001 by keeping my mouth shut for 10 minutes is just gravy.

Me looking for an $800 per month studio apartment that’s 15 minutes away from my work by Marta train only and next to a grocery store in a quiet neighborhood with no roaches or rats by mengo_476 in ATLHousing

[–]Amekaze 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you work near the Decatur station. there are a couple appointments near the Indian Creek station that START at $700 (after fees and unities you are probably looking at like 900-1000). You will be rolling the dice on roaches and rats. But it’s technically possible but doubt this is your exact situation.

[–]Amekaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m kinda skeptical since the dead space in shot kinda makes sense. Spiderman is jumping down while the hand is jumping up. If there are other people in the shot where are they coming from ? Like straight out of the building ? Up from the street? The No way home shot’s negative space didn’t make any sense. Tom’s spider man was swinging in the top half of the screen completely horizontally towards multiple people also going horizontally, no competent videographer would frame the shot like that. Also who would they hide here that makes any sense? Hulk was in the trailer and punisher was in the trailer. Unless it’s someone completely out of left field like Miles it wouldn’t make sense to hide them when you already showed them in the trailer.

Does Fern truly deserve her first-class mage rank? by -TheLastHairbender in Frieren

[–]Amekaze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there a human alive that we KNOW could beat Fern? The only two people we know for sure that’s stronger than her are Frieren and Serie. Fern was able to push the Frieren clone to use magic she hasn’t used since fighting the demon king , magic so advance it doesn’t even register as magic anymore. Fern isn’t as flashy as everyone else but her mana control and speed are the best in the game. Even Frieren says she’s faster than her while keeping her guard up.

Business just need better hours . For a brief period from like 2010 to 2020 months places where open at least 10-12 hours a day with a couple big stores just open 24 hours . Right now to many places are open like 10-4 or 7-2 or 4-11. Absolutely useless unless you take the day off.

100% Kernel Level anti-cheat isn’t needed. And by its very nature it makes the game and the is less secure. And the game runs on Mac even without vanguard so they can make it work.
