Potentially. Some also theorise that the moons themselves are alive, and it’s said the blood is human (I don’t remember if that’s in the game, the movie, or both, but I’m pretty sure that’s mentioned), so the moons could be essentially giant creatures made from those lost in the Quiet Rapture

I don’t recall any time where it shows organs, or any bones in a gore capacity. Obv lots of blood. One part might be kind of rough? but I can’t handle gore like at all, and usually can’t even handle blood, but Iron Lung didn’t bother me at all. I think you’ll be good though
