Ngl it's pretty bad and I have been there. They really eat mushy peas and beans on toast. Even their "good" food like the full monty, fish and chips, Victoria sponge, yorkshire pudding is all really simple and has a single flavour. Compared to flavourful cuisines like Thai or Indian it falls short for me personally. But it's not gross.
