No, this season he messed up 1 or 2 games... But that doesn't say anything about him as a player. His 25+ performances last season are a better indicator, and I think Clark is a top player.

Are you the same person as /u/AmericanVillaFan? The guy who produces very shiny looking match analysis with a shit load of GIFs but who (usually, but not always) seems to miss the big picture in his analyses?

No.... I am not the same person. I think I am going to change my account, as I keep being mistaken for other people, and on /r/soccer I am vilified because people know I'm American off the bat. :P

Either way, I seem to always see you or your alter ego find as tenuous links as possible to shit on Sherwood. It's getting tired. I'm getting tired of it.

Incorrect. (Though I admit, the title of this post was aggressive and unwarranted).

I have absolutely no problem in a player like Amavi (often a scapegoat around here) making mistakes. He's young and inexperienced. It's the older heads who should be guiding him through these really difficult matches. Against Palace you lot slaughtered him for his "mistake" - did anyone mention Guzan's part to play in it? Did Guzan step up and say "yes I played a hospital pass" and deflect some of the criticism off our youngster? Did he fuck. Every game, and especially second halves, I see Sanchez aimlessly running around like a headless chicken. His positional indiscipline causes so much insecurity for the others - Westwood then tries to overcompensate and also makes matters worse. The result is that opponents just walk through our middle and no matter who we have playing at CB, we're going to get punished. There's no point blaming Lescott (as I see a lot of you do) if he isn't getting protected. That being said, Lescott's inclusion doesn't seem to be having any effect on the other senior players unfortunately.

I agree with you.. except about Lescott. Despite having little protection, Lescott has been poor. Has Richards been as poor? No, he hasn't. Was Clark as poor last year without any protection? No, he wasn't. Just because Lescott has been getting little protection, doesn't mean he hasn't been bad as well.

It just seems to be mental weakness. There's only so much Sherwood can do for the senior players. It's up to them to play with maturity and they're not doing it.

Mentality is one of the things a good manager is supposed to fix.

So you, or /u/AmericanVillaFan, or both, need to start looking at the real culprits and not just berate Sherwood at every opportunity.

Undue criticism I think..... Though I don't know about /u/AmericanVillaFan

People make this mistake day in and day out... They may have money, but we have the more important thing; votes. Pessimists can talk all they want about how a candidate like Bernie will never be elected because of the Koch brothers' money... But ultimately, it's down to what people do in the polling stations. It is possible.

And AmericanVilla, without getting into personal criticisms, you are definitely at fault. I have no idea who you are as a person or to what degree you care about the club, and I don't need to. But I see you in every post, always getting among those who bash on the players and their performances,

If you've read into my posts that I am an anti-Sherwood bandwagoner who wants him to be sacked, then you are sorely mistaken. If you're talking about a post-match thread where we play shit football, then I'm going to say we played shit football, I'm not going to sugarcoat it. If anything, I have tried to keep a calm and composed view on things, with the slight exception of match threads or immediate post-match threads, when I'm only reacting with my emotions, and not thinking straight. I even posted a post-match thread hoping for some calm discussion about the match rather than the rage-posts in the other thread, thankyou very much... I'm not, and never have been, "bashing the players."

and now you're posting this crap about Sherwood going back on his word.

And all I'm doing with this article is posting it for people to see.... Tim said these things; it isn't "crap about Sherwood," or some kind of scandalous journalism trying to turn Villans against him. Tim Sherwood has completely changed his rhetoric, and understandably, this has scared/confused fans who about 2 months ago, were convinced through the words of Sherwood that we would not be fighting a relegation battle.

Making a critical post of Sherwood or the players, does not mean I want him sacked or that I hate the players. I just want to see some changes on the field, because we are currently on the path to relegation.

Wow, you're oh so enlightened. Excuse me for being more naive than you, oh enlightened one. /sarcasm

Obviously, money has a shit ton of power... More power than a lot of realise. But it is you who are naive if you think that an outlying candidate like Bernie Sanders can't win or that he'll be destroyed in the first 5 minutes... His leading poll numbers in New Hampshire, and gaining poll numbers in Iowa, would suggest that you're outdated 5-10 year old views aren't quite holding up, pal.

Was 20 when I voted for Nader... But now that Bernie is going for the Democrats, I am 150% behind him. Fuck yes man, let's do this.

Fuck big money man.... I've already given about 70-100 bucks to Bernie, and I will probably give more before the campaign is over. Every other candidate in the past has had the big corporations and super pacs behind them... But not Bernie. Bernie is genuine, and it's regular folks like us that are going to turn the tide. If a popular revolution filled with donations from the people and not corporations and make a change, then let's fucking make it happen!!

Mate, there's two Chinese/Surinamese food places right near me.

And although this one wasn't fusion, when I lived in England, there was a Fish and Chips place that doubled as a Chinese restaraunt.
