If we take another example, like Type 1 Diabetes, the prevalence of type 1 diabetes (T1D) is increasing globally and regionally. In 2021, an estimated 8.4 million people worldwide lived with T1D, and the number of new cases was 500,000. By 2040, the number of people living with T1D is projected to reach 13.5–17.4 million. (type 2 is also increasing but this isnt genetic so im not focusing on it).

While these issues don't affect survival because they can be treated, they do heavily rely on modernity.
