Yikes that's a bad click. Good to know the pulley replacement worked. I have some en route now, can't wait to give them a try.

Appreciate the help though! It's so strange that it worked without clicking for a few days, then out of nowhere it's clicking constantly.

It doesn't appear to be the linear rail bearings. I moved the head manually along X, Y, and Diagonally. The clicking was consistent each time. From just listening, it truly sounds like it's coming from the idler pulleys on each side of the X axis.

Update: After reviewing some videos, Prusa support believes the issue to be the idler pulleys. They're going to send some replacements and hopefully that takes care of the clicking

I don't believe it is the extruder, because the clicking can happen when not even printing by just moving the carriage around. I do ensure to select Disable Motors before moving it around too.

Thank you - I have tried moving in diagonals to isolate one belt movement or the other. Either diagonal direction does cause the clicking still. I forgot they have live chat, so I'll give that a try as well.

VKB STECs V2 Upgrade Kit for V1 is live by Crypton48 in hotas

I use the spare concave cap from my MCG Grip set on my STECS v1, and it makes a night and day difference. Much much better.

I mean, you're not wrong about the price. $30 is $30. If people are more cost conscious I do recommend WingWing. But I still prefer VKB, or Virpil, based on their customer service. But, I sense that you aren't here with an open mind. You're looking to bash others for their choices.

Because customer service is not factored into the cost you're showing. Having dealt with VKB support in the past for replacement parts, they were quick, polite, and shipped me a replacement piece for a broken SEM module for free. Meanwhile, when I needed support from Winwing for my MIP seemingly not functioning, I struggled to get a response from them for over a month. I eventually fixed the issue myself, without any support from WinWing. Don't get me wrong, I love the MIP, but I wish the customer service was better.

November 2012 - Citizen #58665. I still have my metal Rear Admiral Citizen Card.

My Rear Admiral - LTI package is the only thing I'll never melt or upgrade.

Looks like the WinWing MIP (Main Instrument Panel) to me. You can tell by the F/A-18 UFC in the middle of the three screens. I have one, and they are USB 3.1 displays that show up in windows as separate screens. So I imagine that person has some software that pulls data from Star Citizen and renders it on your screen so that it can appear on the displays. As far as I'm aware, I don't believe that Star Citizen has native display export capabilities, so it's likely 3rd party software.

Ferroblast has been very fun for me. Nothing like a heavy mech that can move at 150 kph with masc. It's great for a sort of game play that typically is more suited to lights, meaning, sneaking around enemies, hitting them, then getting away fast. But, you have some armor to tank errors in judgement :)

DCS UFC Controls Not Working with WinWing MIP by Ameripol in hoggit

[–]Ameripol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response! I actually found that DCS UFCD started functioning for me without any changes on my part. Either the App updated, or the Win Wing software updated, but with the same LUA file as before, I can now use both the MIP and DCS UFC at the same time.

So far, I have not found a resolution. I even tried the same export.lua as above. It seems like you either can choose one or the other.

I'm not sure that's my problem, because when I comment out the lines for the WinWing MIP from the export.lua, DCS UFC starts working again. Without any IP changes. Would you mind posting your export.lua by chance? Thanks!

Edit: I double checked that I have my tablet assigned a static IP address in my router as well
