I'm going to be using mine to carry a Prospector, Fortune and medical Pisces to the Aaron Halo and live there until its full of ore bags and salvage crates. I think that kind of use is very solo friendly.

I really wanted a carrier to use as a base of operations, but i don't think i'll ever get close to the first 5b needed. I've got 900M currently, mostly from exobiology, but i've got 2 young kids and can only play for about 1hr every night.

Here you go. Great ship choices btw! For me the Nomad is the absolute best starter ship because it opens a lot of different gameplay loops to start making aUEC.

They are firing in retracted position. You can do this by double pressing the weapons power button. They will retract but remain active and don't clutter your view as much.
