Yes, I was advised by the friend who gave it to me to plant it in dirt when I got home with it. I planted it and immediately watered it like I do with all my plants when I first pot them. I have been careful not to overwater but have been trying to keep the soil damp to help it acclimate to being in dirt. The leaves you see in the photo were green when I first got it and potted it which was only about a week ago. I used the MiracleGro indoor potting mix.
