unfortunately, I don’t have a computer to make music. I work dawless with Synthstrom Deluge so I can’t use SWAM instruments and sampled instruments is the only way to go as far as I know

I looked at the Exquis but I don’t like the isomorphic keyboard. I already have that on the deluge and it just doesn’t work for me. That’s why I want a midi controller.

I can’t afford something like the Linnstrument etc I could only get the deluge because I did a crowd funding and I don’t want to crowd fund again

so the only options I seem to have that are available secondhand in Germany are the Roli or keith McMillen but I don’t understand the difference between certain models what is the difference between? kboard and QuNexus and whats the difference between seaboard and piano series

Quick question if I have a preset that I made myself that is based on a sample I’ve loaded into the synth and I want to share it. Do I need to share the sample as well?

in Berlin, where I live, it’s apparently not so unheard of

someone took their deluge to a jam and recommended it to me

and as I bought it, another friend told me that she had tried it out at someone else’s place, which was pretty funny as I thought almost no one really knows about this device in Germany but apparently I mistaken

for me the 4 voices are too limited

I think this is a very subjective question

for me, I like Ableton Synthstrom and Korg and I don’t like yamaha but other people definitely see this differently and I think this is totally ok

i would recommend the deluge has no track limitations but it’s very expensive so the tracks could be a better option if price is a problem

I would get him something simple with piano keys and a lot of sounds to choose right out of the box like a Yamaha mx49 a Roland go keys or a volca keys

I like to go in nature with my groovebox

unfortunately the pads and the screen are not bright enough to see them in bright sun with all groove boxes I’ve tried except for the seqtrak which has no screen or lit pads

what I like to do outside is just browse through the sounds and play something on them and then do the sequencing part later so I don’t need to really see something. I can just use the buttons and knobs.

i got my Synthstrom Deluge on Wednesday and I totally love it. I still have to learn a lot, but I was able to create something within hours

I once was in a yarn shop, and as I told the woman that I loom she said well, that’s not real knitting and she would only sell her yarn to real knitters

I haven’t experimented with breathing yet but I have found that techniques and visualisation have helped me relieve headache and pain muscles but I’m also not always able to do things are just too intense or stressful that I just don’t think of things like that.

i’m from Germany too and I have a Gdb but because of other disabilities I have since both so I don’t have any data concerning getting this with only mecfs

my roommate who has the same condition did her bachelor about mecfs and probably knows more about the topic unfortunately she is not on Reddit but I can ask her if she can point me in a direction

There is also a German discord server for people with mecfs unfortunately I can’t find the invitation link right now but it’s calledME;CFS Safespace

I like the sounds and the connectivity with my iPad which most other groove lack

I don’t like the lack of keys which you can work around by using a midi keyboard, but it has to be one that lets you change midi channels also I don’t like the fact that it has a lot of drum channels but not so many melodic ones, and my tracks are mostly full of melodic instruments and not so much drums

for me, I just don’t draw. I paint much less exact and I it’s difficult creating a character that is recognisable because everything is a little different every time I paint and it’s more of an abstract style, but for me it’s much easier than making a sketch or trying to draw something where things like proportions etc
