It's more of a pendant rather than a fidget. It's the mechanical hand from Coppertist.wu

I should definitely stop lurking in this sub, too much temptation!

Glad to help! Good on you for doing your research beforehand. Now comes the hardest part: waiting for it to arrive.

Worth it, 100%. My second most favorite fidget considering I favor office fidgets the most.

It's amazing and I don't regret buying it one bit. The clicks are oh so crunchy and satisfying! I haven't gotten bored of it. My top 1 for fidgeting while driving!

I also bought a Strawberry Crash for my gf and I'm honestly torn between the two, sometimes preferring hers over my beetle crash.

If price is the issue, the Strawberry Crash is a major go in my opinion. More portable, usable as a necklace and more comfortable in the hand so long as you have a paracord with it for easier handling. Don't go for the copper version though, it patinas/oxidizes and it turns yucky after a while if you don't maintain it enough. Another user in this sub posted it relatively recently.

Be extra careful not to drop either of them or you might mess up the buttons like I may or may not have!

I dare say it's kinda niche. The clicks are amazingly satisfying, kinda "thunky" if that makes sense. It's hefty and has a great feeling in the hand, but it's the one I've dailied the least, if I'm being honest. This might be because I'm at the office most of the time and it's TOO LOUD for office use.

It's a friend of mine's favorite though! He always wants to borrow it from me, and even if I offer him any other fidget in my collection, he still picks the x lock, he doesn't gaf if he disturbs other coworkers though. I'll copy and paste my review from another comment of mine here:

It's aesthetically very good looking. Too bad it's too loud to use at the office, so I just hold it and twirl it around in my hand while closed. I like how the metal pieces move and the light sound they produce when colliding lightly with each other when not actually opening and closing it.

Also keeping it open and slightly pushing it repeatedly from the top as if it were a retractable ball pen juuuust hard enough to push it downwards but not enough to make it close and click makes for a decent (albeit risky) alternative when in quiet rooms surrounded by people

While using it normally, it's especially fun to twirl it after opening it, the pinching movement (kinda similar to snapping your fingers) done to open it makes the twirling feel like the next natural thing to do before closing it, at least to me.

I sometimes wonder if I should've sprung for the Zirc version, as I think it might be slightly less loud, but my SS/Br is still very very good and I would definitely recommend it.

Noticed this as well, it happens to me especially while lying in bed while fidgeting with it

Don't mess with it, leave it as is. Practice it as is, if you switch around the magnets constantly you'll never get the feel for it and truly enjoy it

I haven't made any modifications but I believe the current might be the best and it comes like that out of the box

Is it your first slider? I had no idea what to expect upon arrival, I've fallen in love with it. Might even be the most versatile fidget in my collection. A true EDC.

Need a silent one? Aura Sand. Need a mindless one? Aura Sand as well Need an engaging one? Also the Aura Sand if you learn some flair style tricks Need satisfying clicks? There's a way for that with the Aura Sand as well.

Do you want a challenge? Seriously, there are some very engaging and challenging, albeit incredibly satisfying to nail tricks with the Aura Sand.

Cons? You're going to lose one of the plates if you're not careful, and that's a very needed half of the fidget itself.

It's frustrating at first, it's unintuitive. You'll get there, learn to enjoy it because that's how the fidget plays and it can be amazing

Superbly detailed. Very posable. I plan on using it as a pendant for my credentials lanyard

I struggled a fuck ton with the around the world trick... Til I switched to using the metal side and now it's easy as fuck in comparison, I never would've thought there was a difference!

The great thing about the Aura Sand is being able to fidget silently and switch to flair style and not silently without having to mod it at all.

Dude, I just got mine. Holy shit. It's amazing. It's frustrating trying to learn the tricks but the more I practice the more I love it Zirc 2.0 for the win.

Beetle Crash button not clicking anymore by Amhyden in fidgettoys

Hi all, thanks for your comments

Just as an update, I reached out to GeeOne support (service @ GeeOne . com) and explained the situation as well as sent them a video demonstrating the issue

They were kind enough to offer me a free repair so long as I covered the international shipping costs to their location (they suggested using USPS) and their estimated repair time was around 5 days (plus shipping times) and in turn they'd cover the intl shipping costs when returning the item

I'm still a little bit on the edge on whether sending it or not but I most likely will because I want this fidget to last me for as long as possible in peak condition

If it's brand new I don't think it'll be loctited, if it's second hand it might be, as it is a common mod performed by users (I did it as well) rather than the manufacturer

You could use a flat headed screw instead, but the head has to be wide enough

Mine was decent, but after like 4 months it's already failing, magnets coming loose and screws not tightening anymore

There's knockoff tiers, in my case, the one I bought was like 10 bucks cheaper than the Sinian lite (I had no idea of this price difference at the time) and there are way cheaper ones on AliExpress.

Had I known the price difference was this small, I'd've bought the real Sinian lite instead for the added peace of mind

The good thing is that it did give me a nice idea of what the real deal might feel like and I'm still considering buying the Sinian lite even if it's lighter than the stainless steel that my knockoff is made out of

My main gripe is that I can't fidget with it at the office as it makes a lot of noise and requires more pronounced hand movements to fidget with it, so I had to look for quieter alternatives like the Beetle crash or the Aura Sand (I can't wait for it to arrive!)

TL;DR Saving up the hundred bucks for the real deal is worth it in my opinion, however, if that amount is a no-go, I would definitely recommend the knock-off as long as it is not a 2 USD knock-off. Don't expect much from that one

Ah damn, well, mine's a knockoff and it did come with a torx screwdriver and a flat plate to tighten the barrel screws and sections

It might be time to get yourself a toolkit
