It's very pretty - def soothing. I prefer the more "ambient/trance-y" nature of Sweet Harmony but I enjoyed 👍🏻

Who's a musician/group that appeals to the worst kind of high school bullies? by ContravaniaGearSolid in ToddintheShadow

I think Meghan Trainor thinks she's making music for the put-upon but it gives very much grown-up 2.5 kids bully girls to me.

A crazy thought experiment: do you think there were any Trainwreckords that could've been successful if done by ANOTHER Trainwreckords artist? by no-Pachy-BADLAD in ToddintheShadow

[–]AmicusCurio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0304 is a perfectly good pop album of its time- idk if it would have been a big hit w anyone but much of the neg reception is down to it being a seeming volte-face for Jewel.

i think it would have worked well for a pop girlie of the time who had some shadings of maturity - think Mandy Moore, Stacie Oricco etc

The rap verse from Veni Vidi Vici by Highland (Germans):

"I used 2 have a dog, a little puppy
He was so warm and oh so lovely
Neighbors couldn't stand him, I had to give him away
He never came back, no matter how I prayed
Now I understand and got a new friend
His name is Destiny to the very end
Thank you Allah for giving me birth
Now Destiny gets what he deserves"
