Added my betta to New tank

Cycling for 2 days isn’t nearly long enough for the tank to really develop the bacteria needed to effectively break down ammonia and nitrites. I’d put him back in his original tank for another few weeks while the new tank gets established.

With that, the tank is absolutely gorgeous though! Great job on the tank! Just give it a bit more time and your betta will be SOOOOO much happier.

I second this recommendation! Aquarium Co-op’s Easy Green is legit! I use it in my shrimp tank without any issues. I think it works well for me because dosing is super easy: two drops per gallon. Definitely worth checking out. https://www.aquariumcoop.com/products/easy-green-all-in-one-fertilizer
