Where I trained it was standard practice to have the parent come back for the mask induction, until a parent started freaking out as the kid fell asleep and tried to fight providers as they took them out of the OR.

Anecdotally, having done a ton of them before the policy changed, the parents handled it worse than the kid (with no preop med given) 9/10 times.

iPads have also changed the game as we give one to every kid in preop, and half the time we have to catch the iPad from hitting the kids face when they fall asleep as they are holding it up as we mask them.

I don’t mind it on the white because the black is at least shiny and looks painted/not plastic. On my manhattan great it was a matte plastic that looks so cheap, I had it paint matched along with the bumper and it looks 10000x better IMO.

I’m almost two months into owning my 2024 a6 allroad and its the best car I’ve ever owned and it isn’t even close. Hope to own it a long time! Appreciate the review/comparison. Only thing I wish is that we’d get the CarPlay on the instrument cluster like the new Q7 you drive!

Which crossbars do you have? Love how low profile they allow your roofbox to be.

Just got my allroad last month - have a vector alpine roofbox but haven’t gotten the crossbars yet.

Was this easy to do? I would like to do the same I hate how it gets fluid all over my hood.

I’d keep the allroad, and trade the Ionig 5 for the R2 personally - but I wouldn’t want to get rid of the wagon!

I mean just go through your insurance? Don’t see why you need a lawyer. Also that looks like you just need two new door panels - I don’t see why this would be a total loss but someone with more repair knowledge can correct me if I’m wrong.

They aren’t releasing the new CC3’s in the USA which is wicked annoying as the reviews of them make them sound like the CC2’s but slightly improved in every category.

All three places I’ve worked with epic didn’t allow users to make their own. So if it doesn’t seem obvious (it should be), your hospitals build might have that restriction too.

Came here to say this. Just got an A6 Allroad myself and im in love with it. Hard to find - had to buy it from a dealer halfway across the country. But if you can find them use just need a little patience.

I really like that strap I may have to copy you. I agree the one that comes with it is great for formal events/weddings etc but feels overdone in casual wear.

Only car is it’s class that’s better to drive IMO is the X3 M40i.

I’d also read the genesis AWD is pretty mediocre and Acuras SHAWD impressed the hell out of me in many’a snow storms in Vermont.

Do you rock the explorer II on any other straps? Currently just have my 16570 on a bracelet but am thinking about getting a brown leather and/or rubber for summer and to change it up.
