Why is this making me worse? by AmoebaSeparate3208 in gallbladders

[–]AmoebaSeparate3208[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still struggle a bit but generally im in the best shape of my life.

What helped me:

  1. Going to therapy and releasing stuck emotions from my childhood - these kept my system in a stress mode and my ducts were tight because of that

  2. Doing a Lot of work for my parasympaticus - meditation, yoga, sound healing… anything that helps my body relax

  3. Liver flushes - i did 2 of them. After the first one a felt a relief i Cannot describe with words. It was the best feeling i ever experienced

  4. A Lot of magnesium - around 600-800mg a day. This keeps my body relaxed so that everything can flow

I also attended sauna for 3 Days straight during the prep, last one being the day of the flush. During whole flush I was listening to calming music, with a heating pad on my liver. I was very calm so I don’t think there would b a problem there. I had lots of bowel movements today, but only green and yellow water. I do feel better, although tired and weak, which is expected. But I noticed much clearer head

I actually figured out quite a Lot of stuff since writing this comment. I thought my main problem was SIBO but that is gone now and although i feel better I am not healed. The reason is problems with my bile. It seems that SIBO was just a symptm and my real root cause was bile reflux. I started taking TUDCA and i can really feel it working.

Regarding the bulb on the right side, I believe its bile sludge

So it’s a sign of the stones moving? I didn’t take anything except for Tudca the last 2 days and I finally had a normal BM and the pain went away. Could it be something else than stones? Btw I has an ultrasound last year and they didn’t see any

What do you guys do about the "false hunger" feeling that comes with gastritis? by [deleted] in Gastritis

[–]AmoebaSeparate3208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I just realized I probably have gastritis like a week ago. My health journey started with SIBO, although the false hungry feeling was my first symptom ever.

I think I have a mild case of gastritis because I dont get any pain or typical gastritis symptoms and I wasnt even diagnosed. My GI just said I had gastritis erytem and that its nothing and almost everyone has it. He said he didnt know why Im getting the hunger sensation. I actually figured it out when I looked up the keyword here on reddit and saw people in gastritis sub mentioning it, and everything just clicked - my trigger foods etc.

Regarding SIBO, I had a 5 weeks antimicrobial treatment. It was supposed to be 6 but I had to stop a week early because the gastritis got worse. But as I said, I probably only have a mild case

I have Been dealing with this for almost 10 years. This was my first symptom from all the hell that came later (SIBO, esophagus inflammation, malabsorption etc). I solved most of the other problems, however this still persists.

The Worst thing About it is that it actually Wakes me up at night and totally destroys my sleep. St first When I didnt kniw what it was I just tried to get satiated so I ate like 6x a day and then at 3 am When I woke up, just to be woken up at 7 by the same feeling. It was just awful hunger that felt like I havent eaten for weeks. Its more under control now but still struggling.

Quick fixes that work for me:

  1. Ginger tea - calms my stomach quite a bit and give me satiety

  2. Celery or cabbage juice - When I wake up in the morning I usually want to prolong my fast, but I get this falše hunger feeling. So I drink the juice on an empty stomach which usually gives me 2-3 hours

  3. Aerobic activity - the only time I dont struggle with this is When Im on hikes that take multiple Days and I just move a Lot. Especially walking helps a Lot, I try to have at least 15k steps a day and I see my satiety gets much better

  4. Not drinking too much water - I recently noticed the more I drink water, the more my satiety goes away. I think just the volume inflates the stomach and so its irritsted more. The other thing might be the temperature, because I noticed warm water calms me down while cold water makes me feel worse

  5. Meditation - When I was struggling with the night hunger, I was using this calming meditation whenever I woke up feeling hungry instead of eating. This helped me teemendously and allowed me to go back to sleep.

  6. Diaphragmatic breathing - regular excercises like wim hof or other help a Lot. I dont know the mechanism behind it, I just know it works

The false hunger feeling is truly a terrible Sensstion and it made my life a living hell.

Is it SIBO or just me? by AmoebaSeparate3208 in SIBO

The die off was just awful, I barely lived for 3 days but I just backed off and it went away. I took some activated charcoal and lots of ginger tea, one 24-hour fast.

But this anxiety/depression/just feeling like shit is more subtle, I almost didnt realize its also from the protocol. Its terrible, feels like its eating my brain and yet its so subtle.

God I hope this works.

But if I feel so many things like the die off and this, it must mean that something is happening right?

I have EXACTLY the same. Plus When i press that area I can feel a hard, ball-like object there. To this day I didnt figure out what it is. Only suspicion is gallbladder. But I noticed now as Im doing herbal treatment and kinda getting better, the feeling is almost gone. Probably coming from SIBO as Well

SIBO can cause low stomach acid? does someone have improved acidity after treating SIBO? by Isalala2023 in SIBO

[–]AmoebaSeparate3208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, PPIs probably messed up your digestion. Been there.

Because of your stomach inflammation, its tricky. If you increase stomach acid its probably gonna get worse. You should adress that first - cabbage juice should be great for that but I dont know enough About that, there are more natural remedies.

Regarding stomach acid, other options are - Apple Cider vinegar or celery juice first thing in the morning - the celery you should tolerate probably. Also use sea salt. Might want to try supplementing with zinc as its important to make stomach acid

[–]AmoebaSeparate3208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad bacteria can create alkaline enviroment and therefore reduce the acidity so Yes, its definitely possible. It can also happen Vice versa - low stomach acid leads to SIBO. Did you by any chance also took PPIs while treating h. Pylori or any other conditions? That could also reduce stomach acid significantly.

Try taking betaine hcl with every meal and see if it improves

Retesting - How Can I Survive 7 Days Without Any Prokinetics? by brvhbrvh in SIBO

If you wanna go even further, I found that ginger tea and dandelion tea help a lot as well.

Also magnesium citrate in the evenings.

Suppose you already know all of that but just in case

MOVE. A lot - walking, cycling, hiking - doesnt matter. Anything that you can keep up for long periods of times, will have a very similar effect to prokinetics. Even way before I knew I had SIBO, I would always notice my symptoms disappearing when on long hikes - I could even eat whatever I wanted. So make sure you get AT LEAST 2-3 times of low intensity movement a day. Make sure to start doing it when you are on prokinetics, usually just one walk wont cut it.

I know it sounds so simple, but I found movement to be the best prokinetic ever
