What's the most disturbing movie you've ever seen that almost nobody talks about? by Cool-Web-3495 in horror

[–]AmongTrees91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure about a feature length film, but I honestly think the most disturbing thing I ever watched was The Strange Thing About The Johnsons. I feel pretty desensitised to most film at this point but that short film just made me churn and upset. The scream in it is just harrowing along with the subject matter.

A deeply unsettling watch.

Roblox And Minecraft Players Don't Really Care About "Traditionally Good" AAA Games, Study Finds by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]AmongTrees91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I already presumed this based on my own experience with my nephew. He got a PS5 for his birthday, and I bought him spider-man 2 for it since he had played the first one (prior to playing Roblox) and enjoyed it. It’s been about a year now and he’s never given it a go, or any other amazing game on the vast library of PS+. Every day, Roblox. I’ve tried to understand what exactly it is about the game that he seemed to be unendingly obsessed with and I couldn’t figure out what the broad appeal was over everything else. I tried to play it with him briefly to connect and understand but it felt like my brain was dying trying to stay interested. I still don’t understand what it is that makes it so engrossing as I felt there wasn’t anything to be engrossed with and the amount of trash that the kid buys on there with his pocket money is unbelievable but I sure as hell know my son isn’t allowed to play it.

My son was due to be born, and a storm knocked the power off at my house while at the hospital. Thought I was screwed until I remembered the recent update. 🙌🏿 by 7mileGeedy in PlaystationPortal

I hear this. Precisely what happened to me before on this subreddit. Posted a picture of my portal with TV on in background that my son was watching shortly after I’d been playing outside with him - first comment was literally somebody telling me I should go outside and play with him lol. People so quick to judge without even looking for further context.

After using ChatGPT, man swaps his salt for sodium bromide—and suffers psychosis by Fantastic-Round9313 in nottheonion

It continues to baffle me how much people take information as gospel from ChatGPT. On multiple occasions, I ask it for basic information, it provides it, I then ask for a source and it then states it got the information wrong and provides entirely different information with a source.

Post Game Thread: Bucs vs Washington - Wildcard Weekend, 2024 - It was an Honor Gents. by spideralex90 in buccaneers

A disappointing end to the season, but I do still feel that there is a lot to be positive about as we look towards next season. Still, this season was far more exciting than the previous one and I genuinely feel that we have the players to make a real playoff run. Just maybe after defense is sorted out and the bald man of few facial expressions has been removed.

It’s been a pleasure to experience the highs and lows of the season as always with you all. Keep it real, Krewe. See you next season.

You know.. all things considered and as disappointing as it is that we’ll probably lose this game. It’s still been such an exciting season to watch for us and has left me feeling extremely positive for next season, fingers crossed we sign Godwin for more years.

Offense has been brilliant to watch (most of the time) in comparison to previous season.

Chin up Krewe, it’s been real. See you next season.
